  1. The NY Mets feed just aired a bunch of bad words lol
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 02:42 PM) LINK? http://www.mighty1090.com/episode/ron-fowl...n-embarrassing/
  3. Anybody hear the Padres Exec Ron Fowler's interview today? The honesty was extremely refreshing. No bulls*** answers.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 31, 2016 -> 06:43 PM) When's the last time Hahn met with the press on a road trip? Clock is ticking for Robin. It definitely is. Him speaking and being here isnt a good sign. This performance obviously isnt acceptable. They miss the playoffs they are all gone anyway.
  5. Just remember everyone...it doesnt do any good to put blame on certain people publicly.
  6. That was more like. "Look I'm just the general manager...I wont criticize what he's doing". Basically distancing himself. I mean if this doesnt go well he's going down with the ship to. Firing Robin would put more eyes on his actions.
  7. lol 7 in a row...wasnt it 9 in a row with Ozzie a few years back?
  8. Good time to bunt right here
  9. QUOTE (Tony @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:36 PM) It doesn't matter anymore, but Robin just pulled Albers with 2 outs for Duke to come in...against Neil Walker. Walker hits .258 against RHP, .324 against LHP. Someone explain the logic? Like I said...it pretty obvious he doesnt care for statistics. He just ignores them and pulls the plan out of his butt.
  10. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:21 PM) The Sacrifice Bunt: The Real Rally Killer Hey! Dont let those pesky facts get in the way of a good rant
  11. Robin after the game. He doesnt want to read your emails btw.
  12. Someone on Twitter said maybe he was going for the 1 run game and then head to the bullpen
  13. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:01 PM) I forgot the armchair managers know better LOL Yes in this case they do actually. Bunting in most situations is actually a bad call. It's a free out. But with your best hitter it's just asinine.
  14. I swear Robin doesnt look at any statistics. He just pulls the plan right out of his butt.
  15. That's the normal routine. Devin Hester was crying after Lovie got fired. They wont talk about what was really going on until that manager has been gone for a while. Then the finger pointing starts.
  16. They arent going to sell lol. Selling and the coaching staff plus Hahn can start getting ready to be fired. That's not an acceptable outcome.
  17. QUOTE (Jake @ May 29, 2016 -> 04:26 PM) Baffling that you can look at this and think the manager is the problem. s***'s going bad and it is a clearly a very multi-faceted problem He's part of it and the easiest to try to fix. Why dont people understand this yet?
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ May 29, 2016 -> 04:20 PM) Have you read the Paul Sullivan article? Maybe the least Positive remarks I have ever heard from a contending manager I have not actually. Was it from today?
  19. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 29, 2016 -> 04:17 PM) Hopefully Robin doesn't make it to New York. Oh he will. Everything is fine according to them.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ May 28, 2016 -> 04:46 PM) Why trade now when it's just as likely you are sellers in two months If they are sellers Rick Hahn might as well pack his bags. He wont be coming back.
  21. JR couldnt fire Gar Foreman. There's someone who deserved to be fired. He's not going to let anyone be gone for this. They'll probably get extensions after this year.
  22. You bring up Davidson I think there's about a 10 percent chance he does well.
  23. QUOTE (juddling @ May 28, 2016 -> 04:34 PM) I will seriously have to start finding another team to root for until Robin is gone. i can't take this anymore......the press in chicago should be beating the "fire Robin' drum from now until it happens..... A few of them seem to be moving in that direction. Only Rongey is defending him. But Robin could hit the umpire with a bat and he would still defend him.
  24. I dont know how James Shields is going to fix that problem
