  1. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 12:49 PM) For sure. They also cost more on the free agent market than the White Sox have ever spent before . That's where you have to spend it. But they wont ofcourse. Probably just a few role players and the "all is well" speech.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 12:42 PM) I know. I just think it will be way too much money. Well 6.5 WAR guys at 26 dont grow on trees.
  3. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Oct 2, 2015 -> 12:00 PM) I was told Robin hired Parent. Don't know who fired him though. Mark Good stuff Lip.
  4. I seriously dont know any oraganization except for this one in any sport that would have kept it's Head Coach/Manager after majorily underachieving in his 4th year. Especially after that same Front Office/ Manager was talking about playoffs in Training before the season. There's no explanation they can provide that would somehow make this ok. You shouldnt get a 5th year after the record you've piled up in 4 years. The Cincinnatti Bengals is probably the closest thing I can come up with
  5. If your going to keep a lame duck coach you might as well keep his staff. It's just a waist of time doing this crap.
  6. Why get rid of any of the coaching staff if your bringing him back? Just keep them all.
  7. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Sep 27, 2015 -> 05:35 PM) Isn't Robin the guy that was hired to manage through these lean years of rebuilding? Was 2012 a rebuilding year?
  8. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Sep 27, 2015 -> 05:04 PM) You have to fire him. I really hope people just don't bother to show up to games in he is back. Any logical Front Office would fire him. I'm not sure ours will though. Remember this guy talking about playoffs in Spring Training?
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 27, 2015 -> 03:58 PM) Sox finish season: 36-45 on the road 21-12 vs AL West 14-19 vs AL East 9-11 vs NL Central Come home 37-38 at the Cell, and 29-41 in the division. Fire Robin. Hell I say sign him to an extension. Losing baseball is good enough.
  10. Ofcourse he does...but he definitely shouldnt. His time should be up.
  11. I bet Kenny would stay if he was the GM again
  12. It's not any surprise that Robin would be staying. It just really pisses me off. Hell for all the s*** the McCaskey's get atleast they arent dumb enough to keep a guy like Trestman around for another year. It's the same way for the Bulls. You think if Hoiberg bombs and the season goes to hell Gar/Pax are going to be fired? Hell no. Jerry will let them go through as many coaches as possible.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 20, 2015 -> 10:22 AM) 670 The Score ‏@670TheScore 12m12 minutes ago "I think Robin Ventura stays put no matter what happens." @BNightengale to @SpiegelAndGoff on #WhiteSox future f*** it Zero accountability
  14. Robin doesn't need to explain anything. Nobody gives a s*** above him.
  15. I'm sure Adam LaSuck will be in the lineup tomorrow
  16. I don't see any way Robin stays. His too inept even for this team
  17. We don't need offense. We have pitch framing.
  18. His pitch framing makes up for his lack of offense though
