I've been skimming the Tigers message boards. Pretty amusing that they think we have zero in our farm system. Unless you count that whole pitching thing. But the Tigers dont need that right? One person suggested Danish.

You can pretty much cancel the Cards off that list. Baltimore's farm system is an issue. The Angels have a pretty nice surplus of OF now. The other teams are a problem.

Like I said yesterday the year we acquired Peavy we didnt hear anything the entire week. Then bam right before the deadline we had him. Kenny even said probably nothing will happen.

He's been dealing with this issue for a while but it hasnt stopped him playing or having a decent year. I dont know what the Mets are doing

Yeah that package wasnt really good for the Brewers when the rumors were the price was high. A pitcher coming off TJ surgery and Flores. That's not ground breaking. He's under control for next season too. Plus it sounds like Wheeler's medicals may have been part of the issue.

Why does everyone assume buying means emptying the farm or "selling out"? You can make a trade without giving up a boat load of prospects

I think 1 bat and 1 pen guys is fine. If Carlos Gomez only costs what we just saw then we should definitely go after him. That was cheap.
