  1. How about Neal Cotts with a 0.38 ERA on the year. Impressive.
  2. Beck up to .333 Love watching him up at the plate these days. Chris Davis....What ya gonna do? The guy is playing out of his mind...He looks like he benches Semi-Trucks.
  3. QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 10:00 PM) Is Goldberg the Ohio State guy? Is Micah just resting? Yea Goldberg went to OSU

  6. QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 07:56 PM) Yeah, that seems like the worst possible fit, they have five solid starters now and Beachy will be back before Peavy. I could see them possibly look to add Thornton to their pen for another lefty vet with their 2 reliable lefties out for the year.
  7. @WojYahooNBA As @KCJHoop reports on Gar Forman's dismissal of Tom Thibodeau's top aide, relationship between Bulls' GM and coach easily worst in NBA.
  8. @NBARUMORS Rumor: Iman Shumpert and Tyson Chandler for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan. The Los Angeles Lakers expressed their interest to multiple free agents when free agency began at midnight, and the latest name to add to the list is big man Byron Mullens, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN. Mullens had a career-high in points per game, but shot just 38 percent from the field
  9. Warriors plan on offering LA Bogut & either Barnes or Thompson for Dwight. Spurs are talking to Monta Ellis.....Weird.
  10. If I had to pick right now... I'm still taking Cargo over Puig.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 02:37 PM) But Puig is the best left fielder in the league
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 03:49 PM) They absolutely can. They need a coach who can get their heads into the games and need to find a couple of offensive pieces. :notworthy
  13. Hate when the FAKE TRUE...LOYAL SOX FANS show up when things go wrong. If you have other FAV teams....GTFO.
  14. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 03:16 PM) They should care that the players are basically stealing money considering their lack of effort. Oh look who rears his ugly head... Don't you have another team to cheer for... Let me appoint you here http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...7960&st=570
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 03:15 PM) Sale's had incredible stuff of late but his results haven't been very good (for him). He's now given up 3 or 4 runs in 4 of his last 5 starts. He clearly doesn't have TWTW...
  16. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 03:12 PM) Are there really people that think the White Sox are going to compete next year? What a DUMB argument on BOTH SIDES. NOBODY knows what will happen between now & when next season begins. No reason to bring it up on EITHER SIDE.
  17. LMAOOOO Sale knows its over. Why not give up a 5 spot?
  18. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 03:05 PM) De Aza go away... Babe De Aza??? NO WAY!!! Haha I really do wonder what he is thinking sometimes. Like "OMG BEST HOME RUN HITTER IN THE GAME!!!"
  19. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 02:54 PM) Depends on who Leyland prefers, the bullpen guy in Crain or Sale. It's going to be one of those numbers games and looking at starters vs. relievers for the teams that are only going to have one representative. A couple of weeks ago, Alex Rios MIGHT have gotten some consideration, but it's down to those two now. Agreed about Rios. Man if I was a manager such as Leyland who has a LEGIT shot at the WS, I would want as many elite relievers at the back end as I can get. Crain certainly has been ELITE this season, but with this ridiculous schedule Leyland hasn't seen him first hand this year.
