  1. Jason Coats with 2 homers for Kannapolis
  2. Bassitt allowed the first 2 aboard & then struck out the next 3
  3. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 06:11 PM) Are you looking at the suspended game from last night?? I think that is why Ortiz was "pulled" Ahhhh now it makes sense. Was wondering why they had 2 games today.....Johnson gonna end up with about 7-8 knocks today if he plays the 2nd game as well
  4. Micah Johnson 4-4...Triple, Double, 2 Singles.....21st Error Tim Anderson 1-4 Ortiz was pulled after 2 IP....Hope it's not serious.
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 06:06 PM) Kipnis too comfortable. He always crushes back at the Cell
  6. When Tank makes solid contact, not many hit it much harder.
  7. Micah Johnson 2 for 2 already & it's only the bottom of the 2nd....Triple & a Single Braulio Ortiz pitched 2 innings so far 0 hits 1 K & 1 Walk. Excited with Andrew Mitchell starting for Great Falls tonight Robinson Leyer pitching for Bristol Charles Leesman for Charlotte Scott Snodgress for Birmingham & Chris Bassit trying to improve to 8-2 for Winston Salem
  8. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 05:09 PM) Fake Thread my ass!
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 04:31 PM) It is astounding that Jeff Keppinger is batting .247 and Adam Dunn is batting .200. Tremendous comebacks in progress. All too late, of course. Not to late for the deadline though.
  10. GAKE THREA already making Tank look like Tori Hunter
  11. Peavy has certainly dominated the NL West before so maybe that entices the Giants even more. Belt & Agosta could be a starting point IMO, but I certainly would like more power from my 1B in the AL.
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 02:10 PM) Ya if we're trading a guy like Jake, the main piece back better be a young bat. Then the Giants are def not the right partner.
  13. He was a pitcher at Towson. That breaking ball he busted out caught me way off guard.
  14. QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 12:10 PM) Do they have any exciting young RHSP there? IIRC they don't seem to have much positionally at least as far as what is put out there, but they always seem to have some pitching. Maybe if you have to you can get a third team involved where we get a RHSP prospect from the Giants & a SS/CF/run producer from someone else. We need guys who are close though. We need lots back to move Peavy. Crick & Agosta are both solid young RHSP. Crick I'm sure is untouchable though.
  15. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 12:06 PM) He has been traded injured before, it could happen again. They honestly have nothing all that valuable in their minors. Gustavo Cabrera was a big signing for them, but he is off to a terrible start in the DSL & doubt they would even think about trading him. Kyle Crick I'm sure is untouchable. Joe Panik....Meh Heath Hembree is a big body type pitcher we seem to covet. Martin Agosta is def a guy I would be interested in & he has some very impressive numbers this season.

  17. Wells was a pitcher at Towson & was hitting 92 then. That breaking ball was pretty wicked to strike out Asdrubal.
  18. Anderson WOOOO...Very nice to see. Jacob May is off to a very SOLID start as well.
