You = Hahn. Do you heavily shop Reed, Yes or No?
Noonskadoodle replied to The Ultimate Champion's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 05:07 PM) One top prospect and then one lower-level recent draftee with potential is a reasonable price. If you can't get that, there's zero reason to trade him. Tend to agree. -
QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 05:04 PM) Phegley had two hits, average up to .327. Second in the league in OPS at .989. Morel and Sanchez 3 hits each. Morel up to .285. SEPTEMBER WILL BE FUN

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 04:50 PM) He threw 2 runners out too :D It's def good to see him maintain that BA for a reasonable amount of time. Not showing that his numbers are pumped up after 1 hot streak.

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 04:57 PM) How am I supposed to know that? You certainly should have an idea?... If you wanna ship off one of the best young relievers in all of baseball you def should have an idea of what you want in return. Top prospect....Couple top prospects...Veteran... -
Some of these situations is where I really wish RV would get a little more animated. but not his style I guess. Nice to see the Umps get it right.

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 04:52 PM) Because bad teams don't need elite closers. So ship him off for what? -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 04:51 PM) He's probably down somewhat in the power department on account of the weak wrist as well. I honestly don't feel he needs to produce "power", especially in the spot he bats in the order. He keeps that double mentality he will produce plenty of runs for us.

If the deal is to good to pass up on then of course. If not, why trade him just to trade him? He is still very young & just coming into his own in that closing role at a very reasonable price. -
Beck since returning has been the man. Seems to be squaring a ton of balls up & that shot towards CF was KILT. No more swinging for the fences for him, if he just stays locked in with his gap to gap line drive mentality he is one of the better 2B in the AL.

QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 22, 2013 -> 11:14 PM) It would be a horrible concussion policy if you let him continue to sit there with concussion symptoms. Lights, sound, intense emotion or critical thinking all would set him back We talking about Toews? I doubt he has a concussion. Pretty sure it was more neck/back. I honestly think he will be gearing to go for game 6. -

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 22, 2013 -> 09:51 PM) So another issue with our s***ty power play is that the bruins don't pay for potshots to our players. They trying banging the puck in too much. Get it to Kane Toews or Staalberg & let them use some speed to get it & set it up. -

Just can't believe Flowers is still a starting catcher. You would think he would be a defensive specialist if you looked at his offensive numbers. Lmaoooooo oh how that could be sadly mistaken. -

Yayyyyy we didn't get shutout....LMAO Bet that is their mindset....so sad. Just watching other games around the league home plate umpires seem like they have been brutal this year. Missed calls everywhere. Why can't we just give them a device with the strike zone on it & let them sit back there & call balls & strikes? People wonder why scoring seems to be down in baseball but just look at a lot of the calls these homeplate umps are making. We have the technology, no reason not to use it. -

Hector should not. Be back in the bullpen the rest of the year. Let him stay in the rotation & continue to grow as a starter. Next year he could be a solid 3-4 for us. -

QUOTE (mike89128 @ Jun 16, 2013 -> 03:02 PM) Astros announcers said Astros pitching staffs ERA is second behind the As in June.13 quality starts last 15. Yea I heard it. Still sad that a team like them is in position to possibly sweep us in a 4 game series.
