So the consensus around here is that Beckham is the future at 2B or SS right? Dude has really adjusted EXTREMELY well to what suits him & has impressed the hell outta me man. I was fine with him being the future at 2B or SS with his glove alone.

I have NEVER seen a team make so many base running mistakes in one season. Mind boggling.

Man how good has Liriano been this season. Tearing up the NL & making it look really really easy. Has to be a Cy Young candidate on the 1st place Pirates.

At least all the other teams who SUCK still make it fun to see how their prospects progress throughout the season.....We don't even get that.

If Danks started the season in the rotation he would have to be on pace to break the all time record for homers allowed in a season. His ERA would be spectacular if he kept the ball in the park.....only thing that has hurt him this season.

Am I a bad person for probably tuning into Jakes start than watching the Sox? Lol.

& honestly Alexeis power is not a problem IMO. The guy has still been a very productive hitter for the position he plays & really upping his numbers when it comes to stolen bases. What worries me is the glove & mental errors...A lot of us thought he would be able to win a GG one year, but not with the way his D has looked this season

It's so weird.... De Aza has really been swinging the bat well for awhile, Alexei has really been swinging the bat well for awhile, Dunn has really been swinging the bat well for awhile, & Beckham has really been swinging the bat well for awhile yet we still have a hard time scoring runs. IMO De Aza & Alexei have been great table setters at the top lately, but the meat of our order just has not produced. .....man what a frustrating season.
