  1. Need some legal advice from the employment law experts.  I was on a contract assignment for a year with an agency.  At the end of the year, the client decided not to renew my contract for budgetary reasons but recommended me for a new position in a different group in the same company.  Since my contract was ending, I decided to pursue a new agency.  After doing some initial research, I learned my previous agency would have to release me in order to pursue a new agency.  I tried to reconcile with my agency to negotiate new terms for the new contract but in the end, it didn't work out.  They held me hostage by not releasing me after numerous requests and it was only granted when the last day of my contract which was my last day of employment with the agency.  Since they did this, my onboarding process for my new agency was delayed, and I missed two weeks of work as a result.  I hired a lawyer and she was forthcoming that they did indeed break the terms of "at-will employment" they have no incentive to make me whole.  She doesn't do the lawsuits and she said the amount of money owed isn't really worth pursuing in court.

My question is, what can I do to return the damages?  I want to file multiple grievances with multiple regulatory bodies but I would like to know which would be the most impactful to their business (temp agency)?  Also if anyone has any additional legal ideas, I would be willing to hear them as well.

    Thank you in advance.

When I was in college, Iowa had a really good women's team. They were ranked high. I think in the top 10. I was in a fraternity and we had a bunch of guys who would go to the old Iowa Fieldhouse, where they had a bunch of basketball courts and play on some Saturday and Sunday mornings. Occassionally many of the womens team members would show up. They were pretty good, but we would beat them, usually pretty easily.

The spring or summer before Covid, they were working out a couple of ladies at my health club for the WNBA draft. There is no way we would beat them now.

Is that due to age... or?

I'll be broken hearted if he loses that supposed $20 million he has on them to win the World Series.

that's where I'm at. At the same time what other options are out there? He seems to have built some trust with the players I don't know if there is a better move available. A lateral move does nothing.

Need a manager that relies on analytics.  How many of those bullshit dribbler grounders in houston would have been scooped up if we knew what were pitching and how the hitter would hit it.  Brantley got two hits off Bummer up the middle and there was no defender in sight.

Hated it. Hope our pitching staff can fair better in next year's playoffs and that the run producers in our lineup are able to hit for more power. To suggest we lost because of Tony is not telling the whole picture.

The pitchers weren't the greatest but it's the manager responsibility to see impending doom.  The defensive alignments were so atrocious.  In game 2 alone it gave the stros 4 runs.  The sox lost game 1 and 4 for real but game 2 is dub with a competent manager 9 times out of 10.
