QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Nov 19, 2015 -> 01:45 PM) So Trump is all for Gestapo tactics? Is he trolling us all? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-po...erican-muslims/ This is the kind of s*** that gives uneducated southern f***wits a giant hard on. Executed to brilliance.

QUOTE (Special K @ Nov 19, 2015 -> 05:20 PM) That's true. Guy who is available, can hit, and 29 years old. Why would we want him? It'd be unfair to the rest of the MLB if the Sox added even more to the rest of their potent offense. Stop the win now attitude. It's failed miserably for the past ten years. It's time for the Sox to rebuild.

Jeff Samardjiza signs with SF Giants, 5/90.

Man f*** JS. He needs a pussified NL league to pitch in. -
Yeah that was an impressive win. Defense wasn't bad but they had way too many turnovers. Phoenix should have been buried at half time.

I would have loved to meet those students head on. They should be disciplined for their behavior. Reminds me of a sect of Westboro.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 09:45 AM) The Medicaid expansion is a big deal to primary voters, and I disagree with your assessment of the Koch brothers on social issues. I think they care a lot about social issues. Kasich saying that while he disagrees with gay marriage, accepts it as the law of the land, has really done him no favors with the conservative base. Because gays getting married really effect the country... That's cool, they can nominate their extreme candidates and then b**** for 8 years while there is a liberal president again. f***ing dopes.

Yeah they look similar to last year sans the defense. Have the Bulls blown anyone out in their wins this year?

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 10:47 AM) Republican primary voters are a lot that are sold hook line and sinker on everything the Koch brothers have been feeding them. They are after the farthest-right most Obama-hating person they can find. Kasich just doesn't appeal to those people. Very sad for me, because he's the only person in either party I can see myself voting for. Looks like a third straight election where I'll be one of the 2% voting for the Libertarian candidate. He is the only Republican that has a shot at at least appealing to moderates. Per Bovada sports line, they see it'll be a clash between Rubio and Clinton. That just makes me want to puke.

Why won't the Republicans just nominate Kasich?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 14, 2015 -> 07:23 AM) And there is a ton of racial tension between the french and the muslims who have immigrated there. This is true. They passed a law banning the hijab. I don't remember when this happened but it's a big deal for muslims. All in all this is probably a really dumb move by ISIS. If the world decides to crush them now, they can blame noone but themselves.

QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Nov 13, 2015 -> 04:13 PM) This f***ing world... Sometimes, it seems like a comet would make it a better place. Religion. That is all.

He's a big guy with zero pop. If you're going to be a butcher, you better be bopping. It's as simple as that.

QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Nov 12, 2015 -> 02:22 PM) I've never quite understood the point of the delivery charge in the first place. All it does is pad the owner's pockets, confuse the consumers and cause the drivers to not get tipped. I very rarely order pizza and when I do, I usually just go pick it up myself. That way I can get it in 15-20 mins rather than waiting 45 mins for delivery. It's just the 1%ers taking money out of the little guy's pockets. Instead of them just giving us a set amount per run, they rather make the customer "pay" for it.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 12, 2015 -> 02:08 PM) ours wasnt that bad we had a built in fee to the price of the food, at the bottom of the bill it would say "Delivery Fee - $1.00" or whatever it was. Where I got burned a lot was a coupon that we gave out called Q bucks, basically a dollar off your meal. People would pay with checks and underwrite the check a dollar, then put the Q buck on top of the check so i couldnt see. Thing is, i always looked at the check when i took it from people, i knew they were underpaying. So we always had this awkward "Yea, you didnt tip me but pretended you tipped me a buck" moment at the pizza/money exchange. Whatever, some people tip and some people dont, it is what it is. People who were on the delivery end of the transaction usually tip well because they hated the feeling of being stiffed. Some people dont tip because they feel they are paying enough as it is. Im not gonna change their minds by complaining about it. Yeah f*** that. I let people know they were stiffing me everytime. I kept very delicate notes on repeat customers. I knew if they were cheap, I would wait around for another order to be up and takes theirs last regardless of when they ordered.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 12, 2015 -> 09:58 AM) Agreed. I also overtip because of my background but also because I test servers/bartenders quite a bit. I like to have servers pick out my meal, I feel thats a core skill. Also bartenders should be more than just beer openers that then go stare at their phone after they've served you. You should rarely have to call a server over to you for anything. Those people deserve that little extra IMO. I was a delivery driver in college, so I have a soft spot for them. They also get the rough end of the stick since everyone thinks the drivers get the delivery charge LOL! If any of it did, it would be a very small amount maybe $1 or the $3 they charge you. I never understood how people could stiff your driver when you literally got to sit on your fat ass and they come to your door. That's the epitome of a service worthy of tipping.

Politics are just depressing. It seems like our country has dug itself into a colossal hole and only special people have the tools to climb out. We should just have robot overlords because humans just can't get it done.
-
I think the only reason I tip is because I know they are getting crap wages. Plus as people have stated earlier, if the tip system is eliminated, the price of the product will naturally have to go to compensate for the wage increase. I think the "mandatory" tip system should be scrapped but there should still be the ability to do so if you want to reward your bartender/waiter/delivery driver.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 05:17 PM) Almost as mind blowing as how anyone could support Bernie Sanders. /green?

QUOTE (onedude @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 04:39 PM) Single issue voters have to be the ones supporting the GOP. I can't for the life of me think how any level headed person can support some of these ideals they dole out. Cut taxes, cut programs, but invest more in the military complex? Give more breaks to the wealthy? It's absolutely mind boggling to me as well. I'm sure a lot of has to do with their religious views; they think they will go to hell if they support those baby killing, homo accepting liberals.

It's the new catch phrase these days. After one acknowledges their white privilege, all is well...
-
Well you'll see an increase in your food prices to compensate for the wage increases waiters will receive.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 03:35 PM) No Carson and his flat tithing? No Kasich? And yeah, these guys are all about the tax cuts for the rich. They love to talk about how taxes are killing American jobs and American economy... meanwhile, tax rates for the highest earners are less than half what they were for decades of strong American economic growth. MAN f*** THESE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES.
