2014-2015 NFL Football thread

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 08:15 AM) As a whole though, I think the Bears might have a better roster than Green Bay does. The Packers are much better at QB. Their coaching staff is better. The Bears are better at WR, TE, RB, and on the OL. Bears DL is better. GB is better at LB and in the secondary. Ted Thompson's drafting is vastly overrated. They have Aaron Rodgers and boy does he cover up a lot of warts. The Packers aren't even a playoff team with a replacement level QB. ARodgers is a divine being. He is just a winner and a leader. -

This team has absolutely no pride being blown out like this. -

What the hell is in the water in Minnesota?

I just want the Bulls healthy for a playoff series. The last time that happened was 2011.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Nov 7, 2014 -> 03:49 PM) Glad you got something! Yeah she got all of her money back sans the application fees which is the way it should have been to begin with.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 7, 2014 -> 11:14 AM) This is the longest wait of all-time. Should should should should should

Republicans need to use this 2 year window as an audition for their 2016 Prez candidate otherwise they'll have another democrat to sandbag.
-
Glad he's safe. In the words of Duke Nukem, "HE'S GOT BALLS OF STEEL."

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 7, 2014 -> 10:40 AM) I just want this wrapped up prior to the weekend. Relax grasshopper. Patience is a virtue.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 7, 2014 -> 09:55 AM) Ugh. Waiting for a response on a counter is the worst. It's the "I had it, did I screw it up" feeling that makes me want to die. The worse they can say is no. I doubt they'd pass you over because you requested more money. Maybe if you were adamant about your rate.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 7, 2014 -> 09:17 AM) I'm not sure they'll all get hired. But I'm sure a lot of them will. They all still live with their parents, too, which helps. Anyway you can make one of the conditions of your employment that you want all of your team to come with you?

greg, Most people are independents. You don't really need to identify with a political party. To be honest, I actually beleieve that is detrimental to the country for people to do.

So the rental debacle ended with my girlfriend writing the Illinois AG and the AG sided with her. The company cut her a check for the remaining $200 they owed her. She only lost the $80 for the application fees which is should have happened in the first place.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 7, 2014 -> 07:27 AM) I do. The non-compete only qualifies for sales people leaving and deals they'd been working. I think I'm in the clear. I countered asking for 12% more. I'm told they'll respond today. That said, I'm taking the job either way. It's too important to my family's future. I could work at this place, worry free, for the next 30 years. Loyalty is overrated. Companies treat employees like numbers anyway. You have your family to worry about. This is a no brainer.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 6, 2014 -> 01:30 PM) There is no compelling reason to make a choice, each side is on the take from special interests or their own party. Nothing ever changes and if it does the next election will be about changing those changes. When have we ever had an election where its about keeping things the way they are because it great right now? Its always whats wrong, and how to right the ship. The f***ing ship never gets "righted" QFT

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 12:33 PM) It's joking of course, but it does seem to work out that way. The Republicans are trying to kill off their base and the Democrats are trying to keep them alive. POTD
-
I see it this way. Now Republicans have two years to clean their image up or there will be another Democrat president for 8 years.
-
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 12:27 PM) I think it's the latter, 37% of yesterday's voters were 60+. Still, it's the Democrats own fault. They pass Obamacare, less old people die, and now there are more of them to vote Republican. Are you telling me Obama pigeon-holed himself to lose senate and house power by keeping Republicans alive to vote against him?
-
Dude you should see some of the young voters who think they are too hip and cool to vote. It's funny because they don't realize they have a lot more power than they think. Put the bong down young ones before it's too late.
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 4, 2014 -> 07:34 PM) signs placed around college campuses in Atlanta: If people fall for this, they probably shouldn't be voting anyway.
-
Not worried too much. It's game 2. Hopefully this team gels.

If he pitched all year, we might have got a 1st round pick instead. Stupid, stupid Hahn.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 30, 2014 -> 06:13 PM) Okay Conway Twitty version of Patrick Stewart...and no as cool as Heisenberg. Congrats, take a screen shot.
