If Smollet faked those attacks and I used the term "if" because he wasn't convicted of anything yet, he should absolutely serve hard time. There are real people who are victims of hate crimes that may have a hard time being believed because of what this guy allegedly did.

You know, that whole people will leave the state tidbit is a myth, sure some will but not enough to make an impact. Even after all the awful policies, people won't leave state with elite cities for small states with no revenue potential.
