  1. QUOTE (Jack Parkman @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 11:43 PM) Guys, I can't wait anymore for the Bears to find a damn QB, because I don't think that Trubisky is going to be that guy. Usually, when a player has the "It Factor" you know right away. I didn't see it from Trubisky. There were no "wow" moments. Contrary to popular belief, I saw a guy who was overwhelmed at the NFL level. I think everyone, all across the country has been doing sports wrong since the invention of the national TV contracts. Who says that "you root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back" I now disagree. You root for the best talent in sports to do great things on the biggest stages, no matter what laundry they wear. Who says I have to "dislike/hate" Aaron Rodgers? he is one of the best QBs to ever play the game. If the guy doesn't wear the laundry from my home town, who cares? These are the best players. Obviously it is easier to follow hometown teams, because of cable packages, etc. BUT, I think there is no reason to go through the misery of watching your hometown team suck for years, and somehow if they win it all once that is supposed to make it better. "You can't do that, you are being a bandwagoner" Counterpoint: I enjoy the sport, and I also enjoy great players being great. I can't tie my allegiances to one team anymore. I root for the name on the back, not on the front now. In the age of National TV contracts, and sports packages there is no need to tie yourself to one team. Rooting for the name on the front of the jersey is an antiquated philosophy of sports fandom. Just enjoy Football/Baseball/Basketball/Hockey and learn to recognize and enjoy greatness when you see it. And if it comes from Green Bay, Minnesota, Detroit, New York, wherever.........who cares? Sports was meant to be entertainment, and I want to be entertained, not have increased stress in my life. Everyone needs to relax and have fun. Life is too short to wait for your hometown team to win. /end rant The irony of your rant is you talk about Aaron Rodgers, a guy who sat behind Brett Favre for years, who became an elite NFL QB. Trubisky has not played nearly as many snaps as most 2nd overall picks. Give him time.
  2. He'll learn, he has tools for sure but even his TD throw should have been picked.
  3. Look at the lucky s***. Unreal hahahaa
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 05:50 PM) Yes. He tries to maintain anonymity but f*** it, he is Sox-35th HAHAHHA YOU SNITCH
  5. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 05:43 PM) Lol, anything you can do I can do worse!!! The Baker/Madden s*** show. Dead Pool would be proud. Is he still around?
  6. Man the cubs are so bad, they deserve to lose.
  7. Eaton in the leadoff spot and I think the scrubs go down easier.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 25, 2017 -> 09:27 AM) According to facebook, they're protesting the military and veterans. A majority of the people in the world are idiots and believe anything spoonfed to them.
  9. Trump is genius. Misdirection is his forte. He's trying to get people distracted so he can try to pass his disastrous policies. People just need to keep their eyes on the prize, Trump's rhetoric is nothing new and should be treated as white noise. He is what he is.
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 24, 2017 -> 12:58 AM) Look, I was a Bernie lover and Hillary hater. Lots of us out there. The Democrats failed us in giving us Hillary vs. Trump. Trump should never have won; should never have gotten any momentum. It's also the Republicans fault for giving us such lousy opposition in the primaries to Trump. I mean Trump just lacerated everybody so to speak. He bullied Bush; he made the surgeon Carson seem like a sturgeon; he annihilated Carly; he never allowed Kasisch to gain any steam. Had any of the traditional candidates looked presidential instead of clownish Trump would have dropped out early in the primary season. Don't forget there were tons of Americans against Hillary. The Democrats coulda went Bernie. Trump is president now, there is no time to worry about what could have been. If D's really want to dethrone Trump next election, they better start clicking with the common folks and not their typical business as usual shenanigans.
  11. Obviously the investigation is still ongoing but what if and I am saying what if, they find Trump was involved with the Russians on the suspected level people claim? Do his supporters still back him? Civil War? This is genuine question.
  12. Bernie doesn't need to register as a D or R, that's the problem with this country now! If he keeps working for the people of this country, that's all the matters.
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 14, 2017 -> 10:04 PM) Their first strike could wipe Hawaii off the map or even parts of the mainland if our defense system doesn't do its job. But who gets hit by the first nuke if they fire a few? Their words are fighting words. If we were saying this type of crap to say, China, that North Korea is saying to us, you don't think they'd strike us? greg NK will not launch nukes... right now they are on thin ice with even their allies. If they launch anything at anyone, there will be destructive consequences and Kim Jong-un definitely likes to breathe... he isn't suicidal.
  14. Trump has been called a lot worst than a white supremacist. If ESPN wants to can her, that's their right, but Trump should keep his nose out of it.
  15. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 13, 2017 -> 12:10 PM) Sanders will introduce universal health care, backed by 15 Democrats I think this is actually up to 17 now. Hopeful this continues to gain support. Insurance companies are preparing the lobbying money.
  16. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 12, 2017 -> 08:49 AM) U2 bumped us to a day game. Not even kidding They are playing at Arrowhead though.
  17. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 25, 2017 -> 12:19 PM) Was he the only black person besides those in Trump's traveling party there? Amazing he got to sit right in back and in the camera. I'm not surprised, Trump wants to push the POC like me agenda.
  18. QUOTE (knightni @ Aug 25, 2017 -> 11:14 AM) A little Reddit humor. https://i.redd.it/hjdtm4uu3bhz.png The real humor is none of those girls are remotely attractive. lmao
  19. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Aug 24, 2017 -> 09:27 PM) "Déjà vu," said the veteran quarterback, who previously lost his starting job in Tampa when the Bucs made Jameis Winston the first-overall pick in the draft back in 2015. Shut up and earn the job. Yeah, that's the rhetoric of a loser. Step up your game, competition is good.
  20. Miggy can't throw punches to save his life.
  21. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 24, 2017 -> 12:38 PM) I just can't get over how annoying Glennon's press conference answers are. I haven't been watching but do you care to elaborate?
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 24, 2017 -> 11:56 AM) What if her name was CHELSEA CLINTON?!?!?!?! /greg 50 MILLION DOLLARS!??!?!?!?! WHO'D YOU THINK YOU KIDNAPPED, CHELSEA CLINTON?
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 24, 2017 -> 10:56 AM) Her biggest flaw was her name. If she was named Jackie Smith, or even Belinda FartKnocker, she would have won. But Hillary Clinton has such a negative connotation, it was the final nail in the coffin. You think so? I think finding out about her emails during the primary sunk her mostly. People underestimated the power of the progressive base that voted 3rd party or stayed home.
