  1. Good lord Boston has been a huge disappointment this post season.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 03:57 PM) Bet the house? I put heavy cash on the Giants to win tonight. MadBum is not going to let his team get swept.
  3. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 04:36 PM) Who were you looking for? I'm not an expert in the GOP lineup so I don't know the non-household names, but it seems like they covered their bases pretty well. Well-Established Establishment (Bush, Kasich, Christie) Establishment Up-and-Comers (Rubio, Walker, Jindal) Tea Party Star (Cruz) The Libertarian (Paul) Religious Right bros (Huck, Santorum) Randoms (Trump, Carson, Fiorina) Yeah, that's a lot of candidates to choose from and out of all them, probably Kasich and Bush would have at least a chance to run a decent campaign against Clinton. I mean the Republicans don't have an up and coming all star like Obama was touted when he became a junior Senator?
  4. Cruz would have been obliterated too, albeit not as bad as Trump is. Kasich seemed like a decent candidate that people could vote for but he's a religious nutter. Bush has the unfortunate luck of carrying the name of an ex-president who was wildly unpopular. Romney and McCain probably should have run for sure.
  5. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 06:41 AM) If the republicans put even a halfway decent candidate up there it might have fallen their way, instead they voted for a clown and will be handed another loss. Hillary would be losing to a decent Republican candidate right about now. She is playing Doom on the "I'm Too Young to Die" mode.
  6. Hillary Clinton is lucky her presidential run has been on the easiest setting. People would kill to have Trump has their opponent.
  7. I'll give greg this much, he is staunchly anti-Hillary, but at the beginning of the primaries he thought Trump wouldn't be so bad and quickly came to his senses. He hates Hillary but I think he knows there is no alternative than writing in a candidate.
  8. Hindsight is 20/20 but why would Bochy roll with Shark?
  9. He can make his points, I just don't understand the hyperaggression.
  10. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Oct 8, 2016 -> 08:02 PM) I agree with just about everything he's said here! He's a voice of reason tbh. Voice of reason... Right He has good points but he just lays it on way too thick. It's his sheer arrogance that he feels the need to be condescending as f*** to people who don't agree that's bugging me.
  11. Deadpool would you f***ing quit with these shenanigans? f***ing hell dude you make this thread unbearable.
  12. So Shark is just a terrible pitcher. Take two in SF and roll the dice.
  13. Giants simply need to return the favor. Curtain calls are as lame as the Cubs are.
  14. It was a good game. Cueto made one mistake and sometimes that's all it takes in the postseason. Not sure why Shark is starting tonight in a must win game.
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 7, 2016 -> 06:37 PM) Yeah, I get it. I just don't know that this makes them go for broke with a guy like Sale or Quintana as opposed to something a bit less expensive. Sale would be shutting out the Indians right now. Price is utter garbage especially in this year and the his career in the postseason. If people don't believe Sale pitches to the level of team he's on, that would be a huge mistake.
  16. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Oct 7, 2016 -> 10:19 AM) They've played it during every passing period in my school today. It's so annoying. I purposely wore a Sox shirt today to piss people off. Why would people be pissed off that you are wearing a Sox shirt?
  17. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 7, 2016 -> 01:02 AM) Man, I can't wait for Benintendi to be our starting CF next season. Just scares me of how much he is going to "hurt" our package we receive with him for Quintana. Over the summer, I was thinking Benintendi, Devers, Kopech, and someone else I think for Quintana. Now, just Benintendi and Kopech may be the price. You have a lot of faith in a s*** White Sox FO.
  18. brett05 Would Trump be your first choice for president? Who would have you preferred?
  19. Hillary Clinton -333 Donald Trump +250 That's a wrap folks. They even have prop bets for Trump's tie color and Clinton's jacket. Too funny. EDIT: Seriously go to Bovada's Politics section for a real laugh. These prop bets are insane!
  20. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Oct 6, 2016 -> 02:47 PM) But Boston is really good on the road. If Indians can win against Porcello in game 1 that will be huge. Francona vs his pupil. Should be a great series. Go Tribe man f*** cleveland
  21. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 6, 2016 -> 02:45 PM) I'd rather have Samardzija pitching at home than Wrigley. Yeah it's hard to give up bombs at AT&T park.
  22. QUOTE (brett05 @ Oct 6, 2016 -> 07:45 AM) I'd but Roe v Wade there. The overturn on Prop 8 (though personally I think marriage should be left out of the government completely no matter how it is defined) Roe vs Wade is old, like were any of the current justices involved in that decision? The government has business with marriage as long as people benefit from it. If you eliminate the benefits of being married, then yes, they should not have a say in it. Do you have any additional cases? I agree about the Obamacare mandate being bad.
  23. brett05 Are you talking about the SCOTUS ruling on Obamacare? edit: That's the only one I can think about having a gripe that they are making new laws or what not.
  24. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 5, 2016 -> 11:50 PM) Giants have no chance. It will be a sweep as a matter of fact. San Fran does not have the team. Anemic lineup. Cubs have bruisers. Cubs roll. Sweep. Want to make a wager?
