They looked like 75 year olds playing against 19 year olds.. They waited for the puck to come to them, instead of being aggressive last night. Congrats to PHX, to outplaying the Hawks.. With the talent the Hawks have, this should have been an easy win. They didn't show any fight until lil-carbomb did after they went down 4-0 middle of the 3rd.... where was that fight from anyone in periods 1 and 2. So yes.. I agree!

So you plan is get rid of it, and let it be?
-
It's hard to argue your logic on this, but with all the corruption that is now involved in politics, is this something you honestly think can be close to legit to correct the problem?
-
Legit not being an ass question... Have you staffed for any other member of Congress?
-
And I think that is a very vaild question and assumption.
-
I always have the memory of the one debate, where he called a question stupid because he didn't have an answer ready, or it seemed everyone else stole his thunder in regards to after they repeal health care reform, what would they put in its place.
-
Great we get rid of SOX, what law do you create that stops the fraud? And how do you make sure it doesn't happen again? And there are more important waste that we need to clean up, prior to this.
-
So what is the plan to deal with this then, In your view?
-
Also, with Boston getting their manager... Outside of Houston everyone has one correct? If so.. what happen to all the non-managers that were suppose to get jobs this offseason.. ie Davey Martniez, Sandy Alomar Jrs.. etc?
-
I don't think so.. I think some team is going to overspend on Wilson this year, and Reyes and regret it, maybe right away, but shortly. I thought Phillies over spent on Jonathan Papelbon, and will regret it, I don't see them winning anything more than a Divisional titles..IMO>

Say what? Explain your idea of how he had something to do with 2008. He was a job creator, in this time of economic crisis we need them!

Just about to post this.. If the Sox move Danks, and don't sign anyone to replace him.. they pretty signal we going to wait and see. -
I have not heard of them.. I do a little research in the coming days.. and get back to you. Just a quick Google on MF global, they are a derivatives broker.. enough said. Derivatives make no logical sense to me, and what I mean by that is Derivatives (which are bets for or against something) make up more money than the whole global economy is worth. The idea that after 2008, we allow these to be unregulated is just mind-blowing. And from Wiki, it states they found loopholes around SOX... Simple close the loopholes.

That his donors want gone. IF people are going to think the re-tooled ESA, is going to have the power as the EPA, I have a bridge in San Fran to sell you. Newt will water it down just like ClintonAdmin did to the federal regulators in the finance districts.. in a sense killing the dept. of any real chance to make a difference. And can one of these candidates tell us why the EPA is so bad? And give concrete reason to why? (General Question, not direct at you or anyone else)

How is it a drain on Corporations? And we haven't had a Eron/tyco.etc since it went into place.. I think it is doing it's job quite well.

What about they invent a Robin plan? You get to sit behind a pole, have no idea what is going on, and wonder why am I here? -
•Rival GMs consider Yonder Alonso a one-dimensional player, not someone who could be a centerpiece in a trade for a starting pitcher like James Shields or Gio Gonzalez.

Maybe you aren't reading what I am reading. Ole Newt, isn't going to just stop at modifying Dodd-Frank, he will start there, then keep going by ending it. GOP in General hates Regulations. As for me, I prefer we reinstate Glass-Stagal, it worked for over 50 years.. It wasn't broke, so why did Congress need to go messing with it? ( I know why, just a rhetorical question) I can't see the new retooled EPA as a ESA doing anything. With all the new Tax cuts..ie debt, have to cut somewhere.. EPA is going to go away under Newt's plan Sorry, end taxes on the rich and corporations. eliminateing Estate tax, (which only affects .3% of the country and is for anyone giving up more than 5million off to their children or whoever) and Captial Gains tax, (which is a joke @ 15% now) And then bring down the Corporate rate to 12.5%, laughable. Which creates more DEBT. I don't see anywhere in his plan to eliminate the largest burden on the budget.. The DOD.. Where are the cuts that are needed? And the only reason GOP want to reform Entitlements, is they don't want to pay back the IOUs they wrote to pay for Iraq and Afghnastian. (for the record, both parties dipped into the SS trust fund) Right now we have Newt’s talking points.. Without reason or explanation to why, until then I will speculate on what he means, from his debate and past knowledge of him.. and every other GOP/DEM candidates. I have yet to see a single GOP canidate address the top 5 reasons that caused the Debt we have.
-
It seems to me the same as every other GOP plan so far. -End Wall Street regulations (because we haven't learned yet) -End the EPA -END Taxes Period Can someone on the GOP not just repeat what Grover Norquist wants?

9-9-9, soon to be dead, dead, dead. Hermain Cain thinking about dropping out. IMO, he should have a month ago.
-
And any GM naive enough to take on that deal, should be fired on the spot.
-
IMO, you don't go into rebuilding mode with just letting go of your manager, you start from the top down, as the Cubs, Astros, and a few other teams have done. I think JR is still thinking Mark and Paulie can bring him another title and is either to stubborn or stupid to realize it won't. And we the fans get to suffer. Even if they go to rebuilding, I can't see Paulie being let go, he is JR fav, I would be very shocked not to see Paulie retire a White Sox and then if JR is still alive and kicking given a front office job. And I agree, Thorton move one way or the other doesn't mean sqaut.

In case you are or others are interested, I am currently in middle (24% complete) of this book about the money problem in congress… Republic, Lost: How Money Corrupts Congress--and a Plan to Stop It

I think that is my confusion, one day the Sox are rebuilding, the next they are going all in part duex, until they make a move I guess we all are sitting here waiting. As for the two guys, I know nothing about them, and I don't know in recent (11 years) how much I trust any arm that comes up through the Sox system. But, it is good to know that Ohman isn't the only option sitting there.
