My thought is, driving up the price on the Cards on both players. Kind of what Cashman did to him with Crawford last year. With trying to move Garza and then go and sign either of these guys makes zero sense, and I don’t see Theo as that dumb. if Hendry was the GM.. then yes, I could see them doing this.

Is anyone concerned that if they move Thorton, that leaves Will Ohman as the only LH in the pen? Not that I am against moving that bloated contract, just don't know if I trust Ohman all that much.

They do get real jobs... ever find it funny, that the head of some committees in DC, end up with the same firms they were required to monitor shortly afterwards? Why do all the Sec of treasuries in recent years come from Goldman Sachs? And make policies that only benefit those companies. The pensions are not the reason, the fact that I am willing to bet 99% of Congress is in the 1%of wealth, and aint going to do what is best for everyone just themselves. And both parties are to blame.

I agree, they should be looking at pitching.. anywhere. I don't see Verlander Duplicating 2011, and that's going to be a major downfall for them come 2012, if they think he can come close to that performnce.

I can't see a 2012 with Mark on it, as much as I would like.. The $ and the shape of this team, doesn't allow it. As for Danks.. I don't see him either being a White Sox. As much as kenny talks, I can't see JR singing off on a 110+ payroll again.

Their overall message is get the money out of DC. ie legalize bribing. When Jack Abramen(sp) goes to jail for it, comes out and says it worse then when he went in.. that's a problem. The only time I see it on the news, is when the Cops are using force and the news anchors trying to pin it as if the OWS crowd was the ones who riot.

Yet, if the Dems put a canidate who didn't put the audience to sleep, they would have won. Outside of hard-core GOPers, I didn't see anyone that was all that excited about a Bush 2nd term. Esp, after that whole Mission accomplished, whoops no WMDs scandal came out.
