As far as houston Astros go.. They made the right move, with moving to the ALW in 2013, you need fresh blood in there to start building an AL type team, going forward... On that note, just think how much of a hitting powerhouse Houston could become with a DH in that ballpark.. ouch.

The Sox should be legit playoff team, I don't see Kenny making any move.. aka, JR approving any trade that takes away from the team for the long term greater good. That plan sounds great in theory, but if the 3 actually have normal them type seasons.. The Sox should be in the hunt of the playoffs, do you realistic see Kenny making a trade that takes away from the team, in 2012, for the greater good of beyond? In 11 years he has failed to do so. I don't see him doing it now. The Sox are stuck with those 3 until their contracts run out.

Humber, Sale.. etc, all are not legit, they are still ? marks. Humber, can he repeat early 2011 success, and can Sale be a starter in the bigs? As for your last line.. I think they are forced to win now, with all the bad money on the books.. no one is going to come out to see the "2012, we are in the midst of a Jim Hendry like Run" type season. We(the Fans) don't come out to watch crappy ball, and someone (meaning us) has to pay for the salaries of the hacks!

I also like to add, Stop with the expansion talk.. Until you can get every stadium full every game.. no reason to have this talk. IMO there are too many teams now, which IMO water down the talent pool adding more teams waters it down even more.

No single player is keeping Fans going to the park.. Winning is. The Sox don't win, fans stay home. And with Theo and the brass on the NorthSide, I think the Sox have a 3-4 year window to right this sinking ship, after that.. Theo lead Cubs winning teams, the Sox don't stand a chance.

From this field.. I don't see the GOP getting back the White House.. The 8 are playing to the GOP base, but I can't see them getting INDEP to vote for them on key issues.

Zero, as of right now the organization has yet to fix a single issue from the 2011 season. Not that they can, who is going to take Rios and Dunn. They still have RP issues, a 2b who can barley hit his weight, a 3b, who can play DEF, not offense. The only thing I am remotely excited about is to see if Sale is the real deal or a bust.. After the winter meetings, hopefully we will see how they shape this team.

I agree with the statement that I can't see JR doing what is needed for the long term of this team. IMO he is still thinking keeping some of the stars from what will be 7 years ago, is somehow going to get him another title.

I agree with this.. Cooper controls the SP/RP.. Also, I would like to add.. Zero Chance he repeats.. This is Loaiza 2003 all over again, one decent season that the fans/kenny banks on duplicating, just to be disapointed.

It is also illegal to bet on MLB games when they are in Vegas.. learned that last year when Palehose/Cubs game. No gambling no team pretty simple.

And yet again the Twins make the right move, getting rid of the person that caused the mess.
