We know Engel isn't getting taken out as a defensive replacement. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Yeah, somebody has to be.
So then no one is claiming conspiracy when they say the Sox have faced unfavorable strike zones this year. It's objectively true and has been once again tonight.

White Sox are in the top 3 for worst performance against them by umpires
In case anyone is curious on the methodology for that, I believe this is what you're referring to

Yeah, I was mistaken. But it still being a lefty probably factored into how Judge was pitched.

Being able to hear TA on the mics is very cool

He can’t lose his composure like that
I agree but I think part of the reason his stuff was so electric tonight is because he was so amped. We've never seen him react like that before so I feel safe saying it'll be a 1 time thing.

This is the most amped I've ever seen Kopech in a game. Him pitching in the playoffs is going to be awesome.

The strike zones are getting worse and less inconsistent every night
what a disgrace

You broke the unwritten rule of most Sox forums. You are not suppose to compliment Moncada.
It was a great.
I, for one, love having a 3rd basemen that has a .370 OBP and plays very good defense on my favorite baseball team

Wade knew he had no chance of getting a hit, that's a smart call

Moncada is so good moving to his left on defense

Hell yes! Best he’s looked in a long time.
That felt like the Kopech we were seeing prior to his hamstring injury.
Hitters are helpless when he's commanding his stuff

Fortunately Stanton lost all of his sprint speed because Kopech nearly got Bummer'd

Bummer, Kopech, Kimbrel, and Hendriks are all fresh
what are we doing here

What's the point of building a super bullpen if they never actually pitch?

TA has got to be better there, come on man

It should be a very short leash for Lynn here with an off day tomorrow

You know CF is playing big when Gallo and Eloy can crush a ball and not have it go out
-
It's crazy how much better Jose's approach is when there's a hitter batting behind him that he trusts.

If Kimbrel is healthy he's still going to be effective pitching 94-96, but it's definitely not ideal
