It's true, though. Most strong personality talents are as reviled as they are loved. Controversy sells.

He was clearly an intellectual and that made the blue collar fans uncomfortable. He wasn't a super nice dude but he was clearly super smart. I hope he gets the help he needs. And it's the same story over and over again, if you have enough energy to complain about him, the score did right by hiring him. He's had a pretty successful career since being chosen as Mike Greenberg's replacement. Last thing I'll say on the subject: most of the legendary broadcasters with any balls gets fired.

Usually that means they are doing their jobs

What's up with the lineup now?

I tend to enjoy a rebuild also

What's a GM supposed to do? I mean, he had a pretty terrible minor league development guy... himself

Makin those moves

God we're going to be terrible again.

Whatever. It matters so much less in baseball.

The Bears would be terrible when they have the most talented quarterback in their history.

Game manager who can use his legs as a pressure relief valve. Not a difference maker but still quite useful.

Yeah, if the Fire have taught the city anything, fans have to be able to get to the games.

Yeah the calls to die are just... weird. It's out of frustration for most. He just needs to move on from the team.

If only the manager mattered at all. Your GM and VP of baseball operations is incompetent and can't create a solid big league team. -
I'm having trouble associating the owner of a billion dollar franchise with a greeter at Walmart.

@baseball_gal_aly I haven't been around much this year but this is wonderful news. Congratulations! I'm so happy for you.

So you're telling me he's a real person unhappy with the way things are going? That makes him arguably the most relatable broadcaster in sports. -
This thing all feels dead. There's going to be bad while simultaneously wanting a new stadium. That spells trouble to me.

Says anyone with a working television. -
I've definitely said this before. I don't actually want them to leave but whatever this thing the Sox have become is intolerable. I just don't watch much baseball anymore.
