Boy these jokes are as tired as papa Eaton is going to be!
I feel okay chuckling at them, because no one really cares about the LaRoche situation anymore.

I'm also hoping for Fulmer around June. He needs more time. Fulmer and Anderson infusing this team would be beneficial.
I love John Danks and he's a local celebrity here, but I have no qualms saying he likely doesn't have anymore.

I'm hoping Anderson does well at AAA and comes up around August and takes the job.
This is what I am hoping as well.
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 10, 2016 -> 10:23 AM)
If the Sox are contending for a playoff spot at the end of the year, Rollins is not hitting 2nd
Both of these things could be true. I wouldn't be surprised if Rollins is gone if we're contending.
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 10, 2016 -> 12:36 PM)
I'll take a 4-2 week to start the year. On to Minnesoata.
More cold. The Sox have easily the worst schedule in baseball when it comes to locale of road games.

And then was the number 1 overall draft pick.
A better comp is Jamie Benn, who was picked 127th overall by Dallas. For him, however, skating ability was in question.
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 04:59 PM)
1 Eaton
2 Abreu
3 Frazier
That's what it should be. Get your three best hitters hitting 1-3.
That would do nothing for Abreu. That means your 8 and 9 hitter set the table for Abreu. That doesn't make sense. He'll bat with the bases empty frequently.
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 04:55 PM)
I think the Sox can delay it. I don't think it is the umpires call until they get the line up card or it is a last visit.
The new boards are spectacular. The only problem is the pitch speed. It flashes so fast, if you are watching the game you can't see it before it disappears. I am sure that will be fixed.
In the sun today was chilly but I have been in a lot worse. Those in the shade had to be shivering.
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately the Sox aren't in town next time I am.
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 06:25 AM)
Schwarber playing out of position was absolutely a factor in his injury. The Cubs took a risk by playing him there and now they (and especially him) are paying the price.
Same thing with Avi. He's not really an outfielder and is risking getting hurt out there. Of course, it's not nearly the same loss to the team if it happens.
The Cubs had no real choice if Schwarber continues to be so good on offense.
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 02:29 PM)
I'm missing it that sucks
For a second there I was like "is this the national broadcast?"
Sounds like we hired a winner.
