  1. Being a Sox fan in Chicago is still a cultural thing. The issue is losing does nothing for the casual fan. That’s where losing hurts. Die hard fans will likely be there regardless but they don’t fill a stadium every night
  2. Honestly, the only lesson to be learned is "don't trade for washed up pitchers" Tatis had never played a professional game when we traded him
  3. It actually doesn’t. It has been mentioned before: Houston has an under .500 record and a ring. The Yankees are way over .500 and only have 1. In case it wasn’t obvious to you, we are on the Houston model
  4. It’s fairly obvious Tatis was traded when the goal was different. Almost everything about the White Sox has changed since then.
  5. Then I suggest you go do this: find all the worst trades in MLB history and see how all the teams fared. When you’re done report back. That was a different era in White Sox baseball. Stop living in the past.
  6. This is one way to celebrate a White Sox win...
  7. You’re right but this board won’t forgive you for it
  8. Bulls are still bad... but Coby White could be a star.
  9. Glad to see that, for sure. Greg should apply for it for funsies.
  10. @Real: Well, something bad might have happened, best go to soxtalk.com and take out my failing marriage on the message board. Soxtalk:
  11. Particularly if Anderson is healthy, I agree. I just wonder how desperate a fringe team that thinks they're close would get.
  12. Spoken like someone who hasn't had a bad ankle sprain before. Moncada would have done the same exact thing. That was some scary shit.
  13. Put Colome on the trade block. See who is desperate.
  14. Why be happy when we can b****, right? Honestly, if anyone under 1000 posts brings up Tatis off topic, they should instantly be banned. The Astros passed on Kris Bryant and they're fine. Everyone needs to move the hell on.
  15. I can only assume you don't follow basketball at all based on this post. Chicago is not a sought after market in the NBA. Chicago is a crappy place to live during the NBA season. "the despite lack of success" bullshit doesn't fly either. The Bulls were very, very good for a long time before Paxson decided (rightly) to blow it up.
