  1. Stop it. You're exposing more of @Moan4Yoan's bullshit.
  2. In this "What have you done for me lately?" league, Hahn has done fine.
  3. Also, are we counting Luis Robert, the best performer in the minors basically for any team as a free agent signing? I mean, it wasn't a draft pick. And JR opened the checkbook for him.
  4. Uh yeah. The fact that Giolito, Kopech, and Cease are all from different trades is awesome. And two of those guys came as a result of Hahn's forward thinking contract negotiations with Quintana, Sale. The crazy thing is our two brightest fielding stars came in those trades as well. At this point, the fire rick and kenny crowd is 95% meatheads.
  5. He could be Ronny Woo Woo aka @ron883. Count your blessings.
  6. Get the best pitching coach you can find. Reinsdorf has done enough damage to both his organizations hiring former players. The problem is, when they hit, it's a good thing. However, he clearly has a ton of trouble firing them.
  7. You can fire Renteria, but keeping Cooper is defensible. Sorry, it just is. I get your point, but we have to stop acting like the rebuild isn't working. It's working. It's evident. And the execution of the rebuild is a positive mark for the front office.
  8. Except in no way was that their biggest test.
  9. If bad takes were water, you'd be Buckingham Fountain.
  10. Meh, you're trying to make the FO look stupid when, since the Sale trade, they really have done everything right less Manny.
  11. I dunno, the McCann signing looks pretty good right now.
  12. Again, the "stupid front office" comment is fairly indefensible considering the amount of talent that is coming through our system right now. The front office told us what they were going to do and now they're doing it.
  13. Steve and Jason are awesome. We're lucky to have both of them.
  14. @Moan4Yoan thinks he's a bust because Rick drafted him
  15. Oh look! Eloy batting with no one on base again. Thanks, Yonder!
  16. This caught stealing metric discussion is gold. Love this broadcast pairing.
  17. And I use the Cubs as an example a lot, but they moved Torres for Chapman. That was a team that didn't really have any holes.
  18. Yeah, that's right now, but the winning window for most of these teams involves making more prospect management type decisions.
