Is it just me or has the PbP guy been announcing the batters name as "wanker"??
It’s not just you. My wife and I thought the same thing.

Rick Hahn is just laughing and laughing

Jesus Christ, Timmy. .378?

Seems like a no brainer from an ownership standpoint
Although, from an ownership standpoint, the best options are
1) No playoffs
2) Playoffs with everyone in

I am very jealous of you coming up with this. Great name. Great graphic. Bravo.
I'll be honest, I didn't come up with it. I got a little carried away

yet another example of Rick Hahn paying the guy early and winning.

2021 will be the actually genesis of the "Madrigal Mystery Tour". Can't wait to see him perform over a 162 game season

Leila is great today on 670 the score.
They have a real opportunity to promote her to full time. They need to take it. There is a severe lack of females on 670 the score

I agree. I thought she did a good job as the host on the Sox shows. The only issue is can she put up with the arrogant Bernstein on a daily basis. I'm sure that's why it's every Wednesday for now.
She may not wind up with Bernstein. I would expect them to shuffle things again.
-
Coincidentally, 670 just announced Leila Rahimi will be cohosting with Dan Bernstein every Wednesday.
I think she deserves are real shot at 670. McNeil probably demanded so much money, they could hire two hosts to replace him.

I get giving the top 3 positions to the division winners, that way there's still something to play for. Maybe I can even understand having at least 2 teams from each division get in because of the strange schedule this season. But what I don't understand is why they aren't going by record for seeds 4-8. Seems very odd.
While it would make sense to go by best overall records, you're right, either do what you have quoted or kill the divisions entirely.

I'll admit, I have no idea how Tim Anderson is doing this. It's not just that he gets on base. It's the fact that it's so hit heavy. Truly incredible.

I don't hate the Cubs. I cheered for them in 2016 because there were Sox fans who thought we didn't want to rebuild. Turns out they were wrong. That being said, I don't see the Cubs playing the Sox in the World Series or anything like that.

But seriously, if the White Sox beat the Cubs in the World Series, do we also get to hoist the BP cup?
-
I don’t see the Cubs making it. They have 1 pitcher.
