  1. That's Lebron hugging Rose not the other way around. And he's doing it after the game is over. Everyone knows they don't like eachother
  2. my life doesn't depend on it either, the players lives depend on it. They SHOULD want to play their hardest to get into the playoffs and win a superbowl. When you see guys smiling and laughing with the other team in a game on which your playoff lives depend, not to mention your pride, it makes me think they lack heart. Even some players agree with me, I hear Matt Bowen talking about defensive players attitudes all the time. He says some of them like to give guys an extra pop when they hit them, not to try and injure them but maybe just to shake them a little. Because if the QB is shook that means he's scared, and when QB's get scared they start making poor decisions. And when Aaron Rodgers starts making poor decisions, the Bears win games. And when the Bears win games, the Bears could win a superbowl. How many times have we seen Cutler get flustered in the pocket? Nobody is talking about dirty hits that cause concussions and permanent injuries. I'm talking about hitting guys hard the legal and correct way. Maybe getting into their heads a little. Not slapping them on the back and sharing a joke.
  3. Hey, maybe I'm wrong. It was just a thought. Wouldn't mind seeing a little more meanness out there. I'm reminded of an old quote about boxers: "I like em' mean. The meaner the better". I feel the same way about the defense
  4. These guys aren't the 85 Bears, they need to play with an edge. Derrick Rose isn't chatting with Lebron during a game or helping him up when he falls. Whats so bad about giving Rodgers a pop? Nothing dirty just a hard hit to the midsection like they give Cutler? Instead they wrap him up and gingerly place him on the ground, then kiss him on the cheek and bring him some warm cocoa. It's awful
  5. I've never heard of a DE being nice to a QB before honestly. Not on the field. These guys entire lives is basically to murder QBs, not to have a tea party with them. This entire team is missing a lot of meanness, I guess thats another thing to blame Lovie for. Basically the only guy who's willing to lay someone out on our team any more is Lance Briggs
  6. I do not give a s*** if you respect Rodgers, save the friendly banter and respect until after the game. These punks have lost 6 in a row to the Packers including 2 embarrassing games at home where the crowd boos you, and they're on the field slapping hands and chatting with the enemy like a bunch of punks. Unacceptable.
  7. Our players are way too nice when they sack QB's. I saw Peppers yesterday sack Rodgers, wrap him up, take him down and then pat him on the back and exchange some friendly words. WTF is that s***? When other teams sack our QB, they go for his head or his legs, there's almost none of this "wrapping up then friendly banter" type ish you see out of our guys. Just weak sauce. If ever there was a time to find some meanness in you, its in a Bears/Packers game
  8. on the precipice of an end of an era. It's bittersweet. The era of disappointment, they'll call it.
  9. We have to get a f***ing Oline in this city before we go chasing another QB out of here
  10. Jay is still a boss imo, we've just surrounded him with incompetence and ineptitude. Jay and Marshall have the most heart out of anyone on the offense, they aren't the problem.
  11. Forte never been good at that. Running him for no gain 4 times in a row was a clown decision. Lovie Smith and company have jumped the shark in Chicago. Nice guy, poor coach. That goes for both Smith and Tice.
  12. At that point I think Cutler is playing through some serious pain and injury. That much is obvious Goodbye Lovie Smith, time to clean house on this loser team
  13. way too soon to be cutting anybody. We have an 8 man rotation and a bunch of injury prone guards so no need. And it would be premature after 1 good game from Teague any way.
  14. Tonight was Teague's coming out party I guess. Maybe Thibs gives him more minutes now. Teague and Marco played some pretty good defense tonight. Thibs does a good job training defenders
  15. There's no way they're trading Love any time soon. but LOL at that video I'd love to see Deng on Melo again. Last time it happened Melo hit a game winner over his head didn't he? Still a fun matchup to watch
  16. What happens when you drive them from the 3pt line?
  17. Bulls never had a chance to trade Deng for Melo. The trade before them was Deng/Noah + other pieces for Melo. At the time there was no need to blow the Bulls up, we were in the midst of a marvelous season. We were beating every top tier team before us, had the best record in the league and the MVP. Hopes were high. It's easy to say in retrospect that we should have blown it up for Melo but hindsight is 20/20 And I still think Deng/Noah + other pieces is too much to pay for Melo.
  18. That too, I was just trying to base my argument on something quantifiable
  19. I don't believe the Bears will be better without Urlacher on the field. Even with all this talk of Urlacher looking slow and hobbled and whatnot this season, he's still got 68 tackles ranked 3rd most on this team. And he's got 8 tackles for loss, the most of anyone on the team, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumbles recovered, 7 passes defended, 1 interception returned for a TD. Stats all significantly better than a healthy Nick Roach's.
  20. Yes he is, and it kills me when I see Bears fans agree with Finley. Even a hobbled Urlacher is better than a healthy Nick Roach. People can be so dumb.
  21. Mirotic can play sf. He's gonna have to if we get Love...
  22. I just pictured what a Derrick/Love/Mirotic offense might look like in my mind. Pretty scary.
  23. If the world doesn't end in 2012, I guess. There's a chance we buy him out sooner
  24. No worries, we got Mirotic coming over soon. AKA the next Dirk Nowitzki
  25. That was actually a fun game to watch. Noah taunting the Philly crowd, then dropping buckets in their faces. Got a lot of Teague and Jimmy tonight. Did anyone see that oop Lu tossed to Jimmy? Damn, that was cool to see.
