Well I know a guy who says he met Urlacher at a restaurant in Vernon Hills and he said he was very nice an approachable, just a little grumpy if you bother him when he's eating.
-
and they can have their backup Qb come in and throw 6 touchdowns, I have no idea what they put in their water in Green Bay. We need to steal some of that mojo
-
*sigh*....6 concussions for Jay Cutler.... why does this injury s*** always have to happen to Chicago teams? I can't even think of a recent season in any major sport that wasn't ruined by injuries any more
-
I understand that attitude though, years in the NFL of the media sticking microphones in his face, trying to bait him, asking dumb questions. I'd be an asshole like that too.
-
I read what you said but the fact remains that the offense has been regressing on a weekly basis since Alshon went down. Thats inexcusable, he's just a damn rookie. Hester, Davis, Bennett aren't cutting it.
-
I don't like that one injury to a rookie WR has the ability to completely destroy our passing offense. It shouldn't be this way. Who shall I blame?
-
We definitely need at least 1 more legit WR imo. Injuries are gonna happen and I never want to see Hester pretend to be a Wr ever again. What if Marshall goes down? We are f***ed.
-
I didn't say let Cutler go, I said let him play out next year before deciding to extend him. If hes still putting up a 1:1 TD/int ratio and a completion percentage thats near the bottom of the league...Why keep rolling with a guy on the wrong side of 30, who's never been elite, who's had 3 concussions and poor mechanics and questionable decision making?
-
The O line is not a quick fix. I doubt its just a matter of plugging in one guy. And using the draft is not a guaranteed success, look at Gabe Carimi. Is he lighting the world on fire? no. We need better Olinemen, we need better TE's, we need another 1 or two WR's even. One draft is not gonna fix this. I havent even gotten to the coaching yet. I'm losing faith in Tice.
-
We have to rebuild the whole offense, I don't think one Olinemen is going to make any difference. I'm just questioning whether or not its smart to extend Jay for 3-4 years now while he puts up a 1:1 TD/Int ratio and a completion % that is amongst the worst in the league. say we fire Tice after this year and move on with offensive coordinator #3,546 in Jays career. Do we really expect the offense to take off next year in that case? I'm not that optimistic. This was supposed to be the 'gelling' season. But I'm not seeing it.
-
I don't know I'm just thinking out loud. This is something like his 3rd or 4th concussion now. He's not that young. His stats aren't good. And I'm just really concerned that we've ruined this poor guy. He's had no opportunity to get comfortable in any one system. He's been the most sacked QB in the NFL the past 3 years. As a result he's taken a lot of hits and his mechanics have broken down and he's just not elite enough to overcome all these deficits that Chicago has saddled him with.
-
We can't take out games where he implodes, thats not fair.
-
I like Jay and I want him to do well, I like that we're always in a game with his rocket arm. But his decision making is pretty poor, he forced a lot of balls, his mechanics have regressed and his pocket awareness has regressed as well. He's in the bottom 25% compared to the other NFL QB's in completion % and TD/INT ratio, he's not had a good year by any measure. Why is it such a no brainer to extend this guy for 3-4 years? Thats crazy to me.
-
Whats so bad about letting him play out next year? Play for that contract. Statistically he's been one of the worst Qb's in the NFL this year. I mean stats don't lie.
-
Flame me if you want but I don't know if we should really treat Cutlers extension as such an automatic no-brainer. Let him play out next year and if he's still throwing as many picks as interceptions then I don't think we should extend him. I'm afraid Chicago has destroyed a decent QB at this point. Or am I overreacting? You gotta admit, he's had a terrible season from a statistical point of view.
-
Massive offensive incompetence, and our offense was terrible with Jay under center too so don't use that as an excuse.
-
Don't we have a TE coach too? Who the f*** thinks Kellen Davis is a good football player? Jesus christ
-
Kellen Davis is the worst human being ever. Not even football player. Worst human being. Worse than Hitler.
-
Is that Kellen Davis out there again? WTF, theyre throwing to him? Again? Fire whoever is responsible for that decision today
-
Is Kellen Davis still out there? wtf? really?
-
Man, I have no faith in this offense with Jay under center. With Campbell? Forget about it
-
Everything has gone against us today.
-
I'd rather have that colin kappy kid from San Francisco, did you see him today? He really impressed me.
-
Yeah but don't let that fool you, our O line is still terrible
-
Let's talk about Mike Tice. O line coach. His Oline sucks balls, and now his play calling sucks balls too. Is that Jay Cutlers fault too?
