Bulls don't make drastic actions like that. That would be a very Knick-like move. Bulls are conservative for better or for worse. Asking the Bulls to blow it up for a 1 year rental is akin to asking Rose to suddenly change his personality and start recruiting people.
"Can you know the mighty ocean? Can you lasso a star from the sky? Can you say to a rainbow, "Hey, stop being a rainbow for a second?" No, such is Mango."
Everywhere I look people are overrating him. I even see Bulls fans saying we should have offered a 1st round pick for him to pry him away from the Nets. I see other teams fans saying he could be the next Kobe...(lol)
cool. You have an opinion, I have an opinion. Let's share our opinions and move on to the next topic.
What we shouldn't do is get personal and nasty about it and take posting on message boards too seriously.
This is gonna drag on for months, isn't it? lol
On an aside, why are people so high on MarShon Brooks? I don't see what the big deal is. All he does is shoot and he's inefficient at it. He's skinny and wiry, he doesn't have a good dribble penetration game, he's not a good defender and doesn't even have the physique for it, he's not a good playmaker....
Almost made it through an entire offseason without any legal controversy.
But we don't know if Hester and his cousin are even close. I have cousins, but I never see them.
Can I have my opinion? I think I'm entitled to it. Durant is a star player, Rose is a star player, Dwight is a star player, Bynum is a star player...but I'm a little bit stingier with my definition of SUPER star.
Sue me
To me a super star is, like...Babe Ruth, Pele, Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky.
Rose sells a lot of jerseys, I get why people consider him a super star but I don't agree. No biggie, we can move on from this conversation now
To me, a superstar is someone who non-NBA fans know. Their name is known in Asia, in the Middle East, in Europe and in South America. They're bigger than the NBA.
Guys like Durant and Griffin are great players but they're not bigger than the NBA, they're not household names.
Thats all on your definition of a superstar. Bynum is no household name. Your grandma doesn't know who Bynum is.
To me, there are only 2 superstars in the league: Kobe and Lebron. Everyone else is just a star.
We swept the Rangers and won a series against the Blue Jays, but unfortunately that was only worth moving up 1 spot in ESPN's power rankings

F*** the Heat
as far as boo'ing, I think it along witch cheering is one of the few ways fans can have their opinions be heard. Boo'ing is not nice, it's not supposed to be nice, it can be hurtful and unfair and I know logically that I shouldn't do it. But nobody is Mr. Spock, especially sports fans who act often on emotion if they're diehards.
I hope I got that Star Trek reference right since I've never seen the show.
Bynum ain't no super star; he is the 2nd best C in the game though
a dumb ass, incredibly immature, and injury prone but a very good C when he's healthy (and not playing like a dumb ass)
