  1. Lawrence may not lose a game in his 3 years at Clemson, honestly.
  2. I see. Yeah, Rapoport said that yesterday and called him the "early favorite" but that was before the Fangio interview.
  3. I don't see that anywhere. PFT said that he believes Fangio is the favorite. Gives Nagy ideas on spread formations from Oregon and that's likely it. I know him and Nagy are close so it makes sense if Fangio does move on.
  4. He upgraded the CF position, holy **** what is wrong with you people?
  5. I worked in Miami for a short time and I've never seen a tighter knit community. Yes he's 7 years older but the odds that Machado was 1) playing with older kids growing up and 2) getting mentored by Jay growing up are overwhelming.
  6. Last time I wrecked this guy in the wrestling thread for continuing to bash the product yet subsequently continuing to watch the product, he blocked me, so be careful.
  7. WSD posted a blog about the signing but unfortunately there was no juicy info in it; all he said was all that's left is Hahn handing Machado a blank check.
  8. Leury is hurt every third game it seems. IDGAF about Leury
  9. They just upgraded CF. What point is it that you're attempting to make?
  10. Almora and Bryant for Cease, Robert, Burdi, Collins and Basabe. This allows them to get another friend of Machado's + Harper's bff!
  11. RT @Ken_Rosenthal: #WhiteSox in serious discussions with free-agent outfielder Jon Jay, sources tell me and @ByRobertMurray.
  12. I have a friend who's brother is a coach (of some kind, we'll say) in the NHL and in their home arena, they have a spot for the wives postgame and then another spot for the girlfriends, if you catch my drift. I wouldn't say 99%, but 80% is logical.
  13. I still say no. Allbright says the favorite is Pagano in Denver. The good news is that the Bears needs are CB, OLB, G, RT, SS and RB, which are usually positions drafted in the mid rounds (besides CB). Also good news is that Pace has done an unreal job of finding depth, good or even great players in the mid to late rounds (Amos, Nichols, Howard, Jackson, Cohen) to UDFA's (Tolliver, Callahan). More good news is that even if they lose Callahan and/or Amos, they'll start getting comp picks which is something they haven't gotten in YEARS. Hopefully those Pace trends continue.
  14. Now @ChiliIrishHammock24 just needs to break Machado to the Sox news
  15. There's still 5 minutes left in the morning, to be fair.
  16. They sat Wims and White essentially all year and some guy named Nick Williams. I would have signed a kicker after the miss in the Jets game and carried two kickers and sent one of those 3 guys I mentioned to the curb. I can't stand David Kaplan but one thing he says that I agree with is: "who cares how much you're paying someone? You can either pay the guy to go away or pay him to lose you games." Pace and Nagy were stubborn.
  17. 50-57M a year? You're out of your mind if you think the Sox would do that for either guy. I could see 7/280, max.
  18. She's pretty hot so good for Rock for going to dinner with her.
  19. It's all of those things I mentioned combined. He clearly doesn't interview well because he's been through that process 2-3 times, I'd bet. He's older. He makes a ton of money now anyway. He clearly loves Chicago. The following are all better options: Eberflus, McCarthy, Gase, Caldwell, McDaniels, Pagano, Steichen, Sirianni, Bieniemy, Flores, Lafleur, Taylor, Richard, maybe Harbaugh, maybe Riley, maybe Fitzgerald, maybe Rhule, maybe Shaw. There are plenty of options. I'm not going to get into Helfrich because I highly doubt he gets a HC job.
  20. I don't think Fangio leaves- age, phase he coaches, already high salary- and I'd wager a lot of money on Helfrich also staying.
