  1. Exactly. Their tackling remains an issue. The ~20 yard run before halftime and the 29 yard run to start OT could have each went for 2-4 yards had they tackled.
  2. The refs missed 3 penalties in their first 5 minutes of the game on NY + a hold on Goldman’s guy on the Giants final drive and the last play was definitely DPI, but whatever.
  3. Oh be quiet. Three weeks ago, you were calling Bowman a great talent evaluator. Honest to god you change your opinion on every hot topic almost immediately and you’ve quite honestly done it again on this. No one ever said Quenneville deserved to stay rather that they both needed to go. Your argument was that Bowman was the one who gave Quenneville these players (the same ones that you praised Bowman for acquiring or drafting) and since Bowman is so good at his job, it must have been Q who wanted the players. GMAFB. Take your hiatus already.
  4. After a performance like tonight’s, they should fire Quenneville. Oh wait
  5. And so would a lot of guys, but you said the Chiefs have taken a chance on a lot of “troubled players” and getting them later in the draft. Poe was taken 11th overall. The others weren’t taken in the first round but both in the top 25% of their drafts. I just wouldn’t have included those three in your example, that’s all. It doesn’t make sense.
  6. Kelce was taken in the third round. Jones was taken in the second round. Poe was taken in the first round. Can’t say I didn’t think of the same thing initially although I hope his punishment is SEVERE and honestly it should involve jail time. IIRC, Hill was punished albeit not very severe compared to the crime. He was thrown out of school, had some courses to take, got put on probation and consequently was drafted late costing him millions.
  7. When Mack and Robinson missed the Jets and Bills games, did you think the same? Because the worst always happens to the Bears and they have bad luck?! Nagy has said 4 times now that the injury is improving, it's not long term and he's following the same process that Robinson and Mack did (2 weeks). Relax and stop being a lunatic.
  8. Olney says the consensus between execs is that Machado goes to PHI and Harper ends up back with the Nats
  9. RT @Ken_Rosenthal: Source: Two former first-round picks are among the #Mets prospects under discussion in talks with #Mariners for Cano-Diaz: OF Jarred Kelenic, 6th overall in 2018, and RHP Justin Dunn, 19th overall in ‘16. ”Significant momentum” in talks, per @JeffPassan.
  10. RT @MikeGarafolo: Despite #Bears QB Mitch Trubisky (shoulder) returning to practice yesterday, the team is planning for him to sit this week in favor of Chase Daniel once again, sources say. No surprise, given Matt Nagy’s comments. Trubisky could play right now but team wants to play it safe.
  11. We got rid of our season tickets before this year. Perfect timing. ?
  12. Beecher High School, about 50 miles south of Chicago, puts band teacher on leave for allegedly installing video cameras “small rooms and offices around the perimeter of the High School music room.” https://abc7chicago.com/amp/beecher-band-teacher-suspended-after-hidden-cameras-found-at-high-school/4776515/ This particular one hits home for me as I am from this area.
  13. @RapSheet Ian Rapoport 11:52 AM - Apr 28, 2017 For what it's worth, the #49ers did have a real and legitimate offer for someone to come to No. 2 yesterday. #Bears offer was best value.
  14. Same here. Always lived in IL, mom graduated from USC.
  15. Didn’t rumors come out after the Q firing that a part of the firing was because of Q’s handling of Schmaltz? And now dipshit Bowman trades him a few weeks later? RT @MarkLazerus: Blackhawks first-rounders: 2011: Mark McNeill (traded, bust) 2011: Phil Danault (traded) 2012: Teuvo Teravainen (traded) 2013: Ryan Hartman (traded) 2014: Nick Schmaltz (traded) 2015: None 2016: None The cupboard is pretty bare. Way to go, Stan, you great drafter you!
  16. Illinois: we’re going to make an embarrassing decision today regarding our football program! USC: hold my beer
  17. 1) It’s not impossible to find good players late. “Great” drafters find mid-late round gems, which leads me into my second point... 2) If he was “great” at drafting, why hasn’t he found any mid-late round gems lately? 2013- John Hayden, Robin Norell, Tyler Motte, Luke Johnson, Anthony Louis 2014- Beau Starrett, Fredrick Olofsson, Luc Snuggerud, Andreas Soderberg, Dylan Sikura 2015- Dennis Gilbert, Ryan Shea, Radovan Bondra, Roy Radke 2016- Artur Kayumov, Wouter Peeters, Lucas Carlson, Nathan Noel, Mathias From If Bowman were “great” at drafting he wouldn’t have four drafts in a row that poor.
  18. All of those hard earned posts that I wrote up regarding Bowman only to have to keep writing more to obviously point out how bad he is at his job only for 2-3 weeks later that poster now agrees? Holy shit
  19. Yeah, he chased down Kenny Golladay. That was impressive.
  20. And your posts are typically the length of novel and do nothing except bash the WWE...and yet again, you continue to watch and continue to trash it. If I genuinely thought that a TV show or a team completed sucked and "failed" repeatedly and was "super weak sauce" for months on end, I'd stop watching. Your time must be extremely valuable.
  21. Guys, come on. His name is Chase Daniel, not Daniels. Don’t be ignorant.
