When a pitcher gets scratched from a playoff start the day of, I think it’s worth mentioning. Sorry for bringing it up. It doesn’t explain why you made up that it was a shut down last year.

He was scratched from a playoff start with shoulder fatigue. If he had reached his innings limit, he wouldn’t have been scratched the day of, rather he would have been shut down the moment his prior start ended, just like this year.

They had more time in minicamp. They had an extra preseason game thus an extra week of practice + they violently practiced against the Broncos for a few days. You would know better than I do clearly, but it’s not like they aren’t hitting anyone.

I didn’t say he had shoulder injuries, rather I said shoulder issues. It’s not like they voluntarily shut him down like they did this year. Shoulder fatigue is an “issue.”
