  1. He was pulled after the 8th. Do you mean what did he gain by staying in even that long? If so, this is still like spring training for him. He can use every pitch he can get, and it’s not like he had a high pitch count
  2. Didn’t look like Rondon was thrilled with being taken out. If I’m Hahn, I DFA his ass and bring up Gomez or someone else. Rondon blows
  3. For a 12 run baseball game, 2 hours and 30 minutes isn’t too bad
  4. Remember when Stone was talking about MLB winning streaks earlier and mentioned the Reds streak would come to an end today? Well, the Cubs just lost 8-6 after being ahead 6-1 in the 6th. That completes a 4 game sweep for the Reds.
  5. He’s been taking the bottom of the 7th off all year. He’s likely off socializing with the opposition’s broadcasters. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me but I’m also biased as I think Hawk is the biggest jacka** on the planet
  6. Only thing that would make it better is to hear that Dunning is fine
  7. Seeing as if how his double earlier was close enough, I should get brownie points for this post
  8. Because of one start? If we can poke fun at posters for overreacting to a bad start or two, we can certainly do it for overreacting to a good start or two. Outside of that start and maybe one more, Giolito has been ass this year.
  9. If Abreu was actually telling Moncada to dive into home there, then he needs his eyes checked. The catcher could have been 15’ tall and he wouldn’t have caught that.
  10. Yeah, what the fuck’s the point if they still miss the call?
  11. Orioles 23 wins (currently losing 5-1) Royals 25 wins (currently losing 8-0) Sox 25 wins (currently losing 2-0)
  12. Well not really because that was his first homer in probably 3 weeks
  13. And it doesn’t help that he’s been really scuffling lately
  14. For the most part I agree, but in his first AB, he took two fastballs that were strikes. I get that umps have fucked him out of some AB’s this year but when pitches are in the zone, he has to swing more.
  15. Speaking of not being a fan, that “shift not working” comment by Stone implies he also believes RR is a dope
  16. Rodon’s strikeout of Davis was an 88 mph slider inside and Hawk yelled “gas!” Get this old moron out of the booth if he’s completely lost his mind
  17. Wow, strike 1 to Moncada was 5” outside. It doesn’t sound like Hawk is a big fan of Moncada. He’s usually slobbering over prospects with Moncada’s tools, calling them a bundle of talent and a bunch of other nonsense, but not Moncada.
  18. The ball had half of the bottom of the zone according to pitchcast
  19. While there’s still time for a complete meltdown, Giolito looks good
