  1. When you touch the ball on 99.9% of possessions, you turn the ball over a few times.
  2. If only the Sox would have acquired Tyler Chatwood like @WBWSF wanted ?
  3. Eloy is 2-4 with a double. Average is up to .336
  4. If you think this team had or has a shot at the 2018 MLB playoffs, you’re delusional.
  5. When Hunter Greene was drafted, he looked like a lock. Although early, he’s been absolutely terrible since he was drafted. Yikes.
  6. What do you want to wager that Kluber does not no-hit the Sox?
  7. The Sox offense has put together a memorable performance today
  8. I know the Cuban connection in general is big with Moncada and Abreu, but they are actually from the same province of Cuba, too. Their towns can’t be more than 50-75 miles apart. Oddly enough, the name of Moncada’s hometown is Abreus.
  9. Detroit could be baseball’s worst baserunning team. 3 gaffes in 3 days.
  10. Sox have 16 wins. Baltimore and KC are still one win better (worse?) with 17 wins for the race for worst record in baseball.
  11. He bounced it in. It was an awful throw. To be fair, his thumb seems to be a large hinderance defensively.
  12. I feel like Eloy hasn’t homered in weeks
  13. He gets plenty of love. He is a great player and a seemingly wonderful role model for Moncada, Sanchez, and the rest of the young, Hispanic players. Your posts are very strange and sad. You seem to not understand the premise of the opinions FOR trading him. It has nothing to do with Abreu currently, rather the players that he could potentially net the Sox organization due to how great he is. In 2020/2021, he is likely going to be on the down swing of his career. That’s the main reason- plus the prospects he could bring back- for wanting to trade him.
  14. Volstad was pitching too well so it makes sense that Avilan came into the game ?
  15. Maybe he doesn’t need to be if he can be a passable DH.
  16. He’ll never have a high OBP but if he’s a consistent 25 HR/35 SB guy, he’s extremely valuable and that contract is a complete steal.
  17. To the poster who tried saying pitchers get away with 98+ mph fastballs in the majors: here’s an example of that being false.
