  1. Why is there a question mark after Kopech? He's 21, pitching in AAA, throws 100 mph, developing his change-up, and is being coached by White Sox instructors and coaches. Rodon was being developed. He was drafted by the White Sox. He got hurt, and it seems to be a bad injury. What do you want them to do? Magically medicate him back onto the mound? As for Shields and Gonzalez, you do realize that in a rebuild (or TANK!!!, as you call it), there are slots in the rotation where vets, usually crappy ones, have to eat innings right? The bullpen can't be called on for 4-5 innings every night. Furthermore, the young guys, like Kopech, are typically on an annual innings limit, so someone has to pitch those innings. That's what Gonzalez and Shields are supposed to do. If Rodon was healthy, they would be "developing" 80% of their starting rotation + the best pitching prospect on the planet. What more do you want them to do? There's also service time issues, and while I'm not as well-versed as I wish I was in this department, I'm sure some far knowledgeable posters can educate you on this, if you're wondering why there aren't young guys in the 'pen and why Kopech still isn't up (which again, besides service time, he still needs to develop his change-up).
  2. You're irritable because they aren't winning but you're so damn far into "wins" that you're missing the entire point. The best teams in baseball are because of a direct result of once upon a time building up their farm, whether it's those prospects impacting THEIR team (Astros, Cubs, Dodgers), those prospects helping their team RECEIVE great vets (Yankees), or a combination (Red Sox, Indians). You have let this crap blind you to the point that you said that the Sox are currently not developing any pitchers. I mean, are you serious?
  3. You're always irritable. Stone has a right to be every now and then.
  4. Yeah, because even if he doesn't have the flu and just feels off, who gives a f*** anyway?
  5. Everyone said the same about Aldon Smith, and like I said a few pages back, his measurables were all better than Smith's.
  6. Biggs posted an article saying that the Bears secretly met with Davenport. Had Davenport not said anything to an "unidentified Chicago reporter," no one would know this. They did this last year with MT. I wonder if he'll be the pick. It sure fits the athleticism Pace looks for and it sure fits a need.
  7. That's because the game is usually 8 seconds in front of what we see on TV, and the ball clobbered your dish.
  8. Are you referring to Tremaine Edmunds or are you truly referring to his brother Terrell? Because Terrell is more of a LB/S hybrid while Tremaine is more of a LB/EDGE hybrid.
  9. Moore is more explosive despite being heavier. He reminds me of Steve Smith. That would be a good pick for Dallas.
  10. He had 2 swing and misses on his curve last year
  11. Tickets 21 rows behind the plate are $6.00.
  12. The better question is: has Bruce Levine ever been right?
  13. There's going to be 38 people in attendance again, isn't there?
  14. Stone said in Spring Training that he spoke with a few scouts that said in a foot race, Robert and Hamilton would be dead even. Of course, that's just one scout.
  15. Same. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. If not, I'll refer you to Kalapse, who unfortunately doesn't post enough. What happened to him, btw?
  16. Assuming Anderson's eye continues to improve, I think in 2021, it's fun to predict the Sox top 4 in the order being: 1 Anderson, 2 Robert, 3 Moncada, 4 Jimenez. That's a s*** ton of speed and power; I actually read that Robert, right now, would be the fastest player in the MLB.
  17. If 3” off the plate is borderline, then yes it was borderline
  18. So, I’m not able to watch. Is Anderson actually hurt or no? For the person who told me Engel is a good fielder, stop. He’s been awful out there this year
