What if Avi is actually really good? Obviously not a .335 hitter forever but if he's a .300 hitter from now on, he is a tremendous asset to the rebuild

Sox don't need Burger to be a 3B. They'll have Machado in 2019 to play that spot.

Hostetler just got asked about trading picks, similar to what I asked in another thread. He said it's coming in the next CBA or two but he's not thrilled about it

It's funny because the MLB draft is a bigger crapshoot than any of the 4 major sports yet last year everyone was elated for Collins, and he sort of sucks right now. No one knows for sure

If no one has been asked to waive their NMC and they'll truly dealing a "core guy," Hjalmarsson and Seabrook both have NMC's, they're depth at C is s***, and Toews/Keith/Kane are obviously not going anywhere, so it leads me to one name: Panarin.

I agree that deserves a second chance, despite this being f***ing gross. Furthermore, this likely pushes him to round 3 or 4, and I'd definitely being willing to give him a shot, *if* he proves to be remorseful in interviews.
