  1. Willy Garcia is going to be a good player
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 8, 2017 -> 08:55 AM) Nashville might actually be good.... They had 2 less regulation wins than the Hawks did. I'd say so.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2017 -> 01:48 PM) Yep it's great that of the three most important players on the 25 man roster for the Sox future, one is seemingly dead, one forgot how to hit and field and the other one can only get Royals out. So, Anderson is the #2 guy and Quintana is the last one, but who is seemingly dead?
  4. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 2, 2017 -> 02:09 PM) Wow completely uncalled for. And who cares about John Fox? Well he is the Bears coach and he is going to have much more impact on Trubisky's development than Pace or you, so id venture to say that most people who care about the Bears probably care what Fox thinks about the QB who he is responsible for helping to groom... But those $$ really made your post much classier. You shouldn't care about Fox. He might be gone after week 8. He's definitely gone after week 17. He will have almost no impact on MT's development. I am so sick of people being upset about the Bears just because it's cool thing to do. Find another team then. They identified a guy who they think can put an end to a disgusting trail of QB's and we're mad. They tried to build around him but we're mad because they went to Ashland, Kutztown and NC A&T. Who gives a f***?
  5. QUOTE (kwolf68 @ May 2, 2017 -> 01:41 PM) He's not. Bad at LT, bad at RT. If he even makes the team it will shock. Bears are a waste, their draft was comical on every level. I read a report today Fox and Pace are at each other. I suspect Fox is out this year and then after Pace makes a bunch of other dumb draft trades and then drafts kids from WhoKnowsWhoU he'll be bounced. Tough for this Sox fan....Blackhawks too old, White Sox too young and Bears too stupid. They overpaid by the equivalent of a 5th round pick for what they believe to be a franchise QB. Stop reading reports. Who really cares about John Fox's feelings? Vincent Jackson- Northern Colorado Joe Flacco- Delaware Walter Payton- Jackson St. Jerry Rice- Mississippi Valley St. Richard Dent- Tennessee St. Tony Romo- Eastern Illinois Michael Turner- Northern Illinois Steve McNair- Alcorn St. Matt Forte- Tulane Deacon Jones- Mississippi Valley St. Who really cares where you go to school? Great players are found from every level. Cutler, Grossman, Steltz, Orton, etc all played in big-time conferences. How did they work out? Also, the Blackhawks were the best team in the west and got swept by a team who had 2 less regulation wins. They didn't go from great on April 1 to too old on April 13. They got beat by a good team.

The 49ers might have been playing their hand well, but there were absolutely teams calling to move up for QBs. 2. The Browns, Chiefs, Texans and Cardinals all had interest in moving up. Told that Browns and Chiefs coveted Mitch Trubisky. 3. The #Bears wanted Mitch Trubisky. He was their draft at that point. Bluffed or not, team made correct move to get him. Regret = worse. 4. In the end, the Chiefs and Texans did actually move up to draft quarterbacks. So don't doubt their attempts to move up at all. 5. Don't forget what happened in 2014. #Bears were stunned when Aaron Donald was selected right before them. How'd that work out? 6. Regardless of what teams were offering 49ers' deals, the existence of them spurred bold action by #Bears. I wouldn't fault them for that. 7. Don't think the Browns wanted Trubisky? Think again. They passed on Deshaun Watson. Trubisky was their guy from get to. 8. There are always ways to recoup picks in the draft. #Bears stuck close to value of swapping picks from 3 to 2. 9. In the end, if Mitch Trubisky turns out to be a franchise QB for the #Bears will anyone remember what they traded? Time will tell.
  7. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 28, 2017 -> 07:38 AM) If you don't think Ryan Pace can do anything with third and fourth round picks, the bears are doomed anyway. It's not about what Pace can and can't do with these. There aren't any GM's who consistently find gems in the mid rounds. Some can't find any in round 1. I do know that the probability in round 1 is much better
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 11:37 PM) I think we get that...if the guy turns into the real deal, there is almost no price not worth paying. That doesn't mean you just start giving away everything to get your man. It seems like John Lynch's preparation for tonight was to watch Kevin Costner in Draft Day and Pace and Co. were f***ing dumb enough to fall for it. Give away everything. My god. They gave away 2 thirds and a 4th, one or two of which will probably be recouped in about 18 hours, but if Pace can't get them back, uh oh! Hopefully the Bears don't miss out on another Chris Conte, Major Wright, Juaquin Iglesias, or Khaseem Greene with those golden tickets!
  9. Hated Cutler, got Glennon Hate Glennon, took Trubisky Still mad. I sometimes wish they would come out and admitted that they'll be f***ing bad for 4 years because all of you evidently believe since you didn't hear that, they'll be good. Would Garrett, Watson, Adams, Thomas, etc gotten them to 10-6 this year? No? Then find a way to get a guy to be your future at the most important position in sports They gave up their shot at a few special teams players and maybe a starter by giving up mid-round picks. GMAB. Pace got his guy. If he's great, awesome. If not, Pace is gone after the 2019 season. But, I do know that taking the next Aaron Donald (Thomas) wins you jack s***; ask the Rams how Aaron Donald is helping them win Super Bowls. You have to have a QB. Let's see how it plays out
  10. At what point do we start considering Delmonico an actual good prospect?
  11. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 23, 2017 -> 01:14 PM) Holy s*** TA. Now that's a play! And now a leadoff double
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 01:53 PM) You guys should all hop on the "anyone but the Blues" bandwagon for my sake. Thanks. Always QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 04:09 PM) I don't know, Darling is going to get paid by someone (maybe Vegas?) so I'm not sure where that leaves the Hawks if they move Crawford. Unless they keep Darling for $4m/year, trade Crawford and save $2m QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 02:03 PM) Toews not untouchable anymore and moving him should be discussed, If return is good. GTFOH
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 01:12 PM) Toews said he wasn't happy with his health this season and will change his training techniques this offseason. He mentioned "speed" often. I wonder if his back injury got him a tad out of shape
  14. Lazerus thinks there is a disconnct between coaches and players
  15. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 22, 2017 -> 08:10 AM) Kane (USA) and Panarin (RUS) to play in World Championships. Awesome for USA hockey that Kane is going. He'll probably be the captain as well. I never want to hear the "no team has played more hockey since 2009" excuse anymore
  16. I fear that this is officially the end. Too bad.
  17. Schmaltz puts one through the crease, nobody in front. Toews slows down and makes a 3 on 1 a 2 on 1 Panarin misses the net from 7 feet out Rinse, repeat
  18. Bears will be 1-7 heading into the bye and their 9th game will be coached by Fangio
  19. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 19, 2017 -> 04:08 PM) It should not be this hard for my brain to understand what the f*** you are referring to when you say something like this. I think he means the Bears are not taking a QB, and as much as I like all of Miller's reporting, the dude is... like... never correct.
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 19, 2017 -> 06:32 PM) Asche and May can console each other in the airport bar. I hope not. Isn't the goal to lose?
  21. QUOTE (Sox-35th @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 12:21 AM) What did I say that was wrong? I'll wait. Toews had a bad year, but Kane is really f***ing good. Keith's was signed years ago and makes less than a few mediocre players. Hossa's is $1m/year for the next 4 years, and again was signed 3 Cups ago.
  22. I'll be that guy- if this is the end of the dynasty, it was a f***ing blast. If I ever see 3 in 7 years for the Sox or Bears I'll be a happy dude.
  23. Who is Robert's pro comp? What are the chances the Sox sign him? Yes I know I could look but 15 pages is a s***load
  24. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2017 -> 11:16 PM) Hit him right in the face I believe it's only GI if he's in the blue
