  2. Thank you for your dominance, Chris, and go win a ring, but it's time for a rebuild.

  4. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 21, 2016 -> 04:04 PM) Well, fine. Sure. Would rather be 2-14 than 4-12. I say browns shock the world and we may fight it out. They have 2 winnable games left- home vs CIN and home vs SD. I doubt they win both. They'll be picking #1
  5. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Nov 21, 2016 -> 03:52 PM) Yeah we want Florida area or somewhere down there by an ocean. Sorry should have specified that part lol Check out ncl.com. They now have 4 day cruises to the Bahamas that are all-inclusive, including booze. It may not be what you're looking for but it's Florida and the Bahamas tied in one and the food and alcohol are included. I don't believe any other cruise line does all inclusive anything except NCL to the Bahamas. If not, try Clearwater/St. Pete in FL.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 21, 2016 -> 03:21 PM) Lauren Comitor ‏@laurencomitor 2h2 hours ago Detailed look here by @ByScottPowers at the now even more complicated situation of re-signing Artemi Panarin. https://theathletic.com/26607/2016/11/21/re...for-blackhawks/ Not sure of anyone saw it but a Canadian reporter says that the Hawks tried to get Saad back last year. It's interesting because he thinks that with Saad struggling to fit in in Columbus, they could take another run at him. It's clear that Panarin is the more dangerous player, but I wonder if Bowman would trade Panarin for Saad. Panarin would want more money than Saad makes so he could save there, and with every Russian there's a chance Panarin may eventually go back to Russia. If Bowman doesn't think he can afford Panarin but could afford Saad, perhaps he moves ahead of the game and brings Saad back in exchange for Panarin.
  7. Bears/Titans, 11/27, 3 tickets Bears/49ers, 12/24, 3 tickets Would sell both for less than face value. Message for details.

  9. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 20, 2016 -> 12:55 AM) Schmaltz, Hartman, Hinostroza and Hossa were fantastic that game. Really need Toews to get going though. And I think our PP would look much better if Keith was off of it. Other than that, this team looks very good. Oh.. and if anyone hasn't had a chance to watch Connor McDavid yet, watch him on Monday. Such a stud player and only 19. Just scored a hat trick last night too. Agree. Seabrook's shot is an absolute weapon, and while Keith's skating helps the PP, his inability to get a shot on goal is maddening
  10. *One rival executive’s read on the White Sox: “I think they’re in the exact same place they were in during the summer. They’ll listen on everyone, but I think they’ll focus on trying to move the short-term guys first and then listen on the big guys — and ultimately not move the big guys.” The “short-term guys” are Frazier, second baseman Brett Lawrie and outfielder Melky Cabrera, all of whom are entering free-agent years, and closer David Robertson, who is signed through 2018. The “big guys,” of course, are left-handers Chris Sale and Jose Quintana. --per Rosenthal
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 3, 2016 -> 12:18 PM) Benetti did the GT game. Didn't make it sound like a 3 hour comedy routine at least. That's because he was a neutral announcer, but to be fair, the Sox are a comedy, so he's only fitting in.
  12. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 22, 2016 -> 11:44 AM) Supposedly, the Orton/Lesnar thing did go according to plan minus that he cut him a little deeper than expected. The plan was for Lesnar to cut Orton and end with a TKO? Somehow I don't believe that
  13. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 7, 2016 -> 10:33 AM) Bears really thin a Center now tough break on a crappy Soldier Field. They're actually not thin at C. Whitehair is probably their future there, and Larsen has played a lot of center
  14. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Aug 5, 2016 -> 11:33 PM) There's been a lot of give aways by the pen. I can't believe it took this long to make this joke
  15. Ambrose is coming off as a douche. Perhaps he's about to turn into a heel? He's flat out bashing Ziggler and even made a dig at the fans

Who says there will be a rebuild?
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 01:25 PM) Hawk ok? I hope not
  18. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 09:35 AM) Are the Yankees prospects that much better then Red Sox now? Aside from Torres who they just got from the Cubs, the Yankees have a pretty bad farm (IIRC). Although, with that addition + what they just got for Miller, perhaps it's better now.
  19. Face value. PM if interested
  20. QUOTE (NCsoxfan @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 03:35 PM) It's just one game but today Moncada & Benintendi combined for 0-9. Moncada was 0-5 with 5K's. Faced a 29y old journey man with a 4.01 lifetime era in the minors. One game but nothing is guaranteed! That really is a lot of worthless information, but I don't really care if the haul they received was Moncada + 3 others and Moncada busts...as long as 2 or 3 of the others are good players in 2-3 years.
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 09:47 AM) If Sale was that uncomfortable in it, the answer is yes. Whether he truly was or not, only he knows. Have you ever felt the material of the uniforms that the pro's wear now? They may have gotten lighter + that vent under the arms, but they aren't exactly comfortable to begin with. The weather last night was 90 and humid. Whether Sale wore nothing, the regular home white or the '76 throwback, it was likely that he was going to be uncomfortable. If a jersey material effects your pitching, you need to start looking at yourself.
  22. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 08:50 AM) #teamsale #imwithhim The dude cares more about winning then some marketing event. And quite frankly he's one of the only guy's on this team that's performed day- in/out during the multi-year s*** storm. Reminds me of that scene in Vegas vacation. "I'm tired of this s***. I want something better!!!" Are you implying that not wearing the '76 uniform gives the Sox a better chance to win?
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 07:44 PM) Chris Sale is sawft And you can't teach that QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 07:46 PM) so are they wearing the jerseys? or did they have to switch? lol. They obviously couldn't wear them.
  24. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 07:59 PM) Chuck GarfienVerified account ‏@ChuckGarfien I know Chris Sale likes wearing the 1983 throwbacks. He clearly had issues with the '76 ones. And yes, there's more to it than that. Someone probably made a comment like "how would you feel if those ugly things were the last uniform that you ever wore here?" And then s*** probably hit the fan
