  1. IIRC, Gibson has 1 career shutout and it was against the Hawks. This could be 2/2
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 27, 2015 -> 07:12 AM) It really looked like Lacy threw it behind him before he entered the end zone The NFL is a $7 billion company and they can have cameras in pylons, floating around above the field, etc but they can't find a way to get one right on every goal line. Isn't that unbelieveable? QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 27, 2015 -> 09:28 AM) Might be the first time ever I actually turned on First and Take (since ESPN is crap anyways) to see Skip Bayless absolutely own the segment and be happy. As we all know he's a big Cutler fan. Bayless is a joke. Last year he said he was off of the Cutler bandwagon. Leave it up to that a**hole to act like he never got off
  3. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Nov 26, 2015 -> 10:59 PM) I don't think Callahan, Amos, Christian Jones will be no-names much longer. Jones will be. He's brutal. McClellin is, too. They need some ILB's. Agree on Amos & Callahan though.
  4. That was pathetic by Fox to not take the run-off & then to squib it
  5. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Nov 25, 2015 -> 10:43 PM) Dano and Daley have been real good tonight. Kane and Keith, also.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 24, 2015 -> 08:02 AM) Not sure, there has to be some story behind it. I dont see why moving to the SEC and playing bama every year looks better than being a dominant force in the ACC. Its a downward move to me. Fisher was the OC at LSU for awhile and while there, he and Miles' philosophies differed. Miles is more conservative and LSU fans would love Fisher's play calling. Also, something new and more money talks. A lot of people thought Carroll was dumber for leaving USC. Had it not worked out in Seattle he could have easily come back to any school with double salary in his pocket from the NFL.
  7. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 25, 2015 -> 03:24 PM) Whoops, he's questionable. I don't think he plays though. Prove me wrong, Alshon! He ran his mouth this week about how disrespectful it was by GB for smacking them around last year, so he best play now. QUOTE (shipps @ Nov 25, 2015 -> 02:44 PM) You would think that its almost hard to mess up every pick even if you were trying to mess them up. Someone would have to pan out just by the odds. Mack and Thomas are great players. Wimbley went onto have a good career albeit not in Cleveland QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Nov 25, 2015 -> 04:19 PM) 1990 6 Mark Carrier Safety Southern California 1991 22 Stan Thomas Offensive tackle Texas 1992 22 Alonzo Spellman Defensive end Ohio State 1993 7 Curtis Conway Wide Receiver Southern California 1994 11 John Thierry Defensive end Alcorn State 1995 21 Rashaan Salaam Half Back Colorado 1996 13 Walt Harris Defensive back Mississippi State 1997 — No Pick — — [t] 1998 5 Curtis Enis Half Back Penn State 1999 12 Cade McNown Quarterback UCLA 2000 9 Brian Urlacher Linebacker/Safety New Mexico 2001 8 David Terrell Wide Receiver Michigan 2002 29 Marc Colombo Offensive tackle Boston College 2003 14 Michael Haynes Defensive end Penn State [v] 2003 22 Rex Grossman Quarterback Florida [v] 2004 14 Tommie Harris Defensive tackle Oklahoma 2005 4 Cedric Benson Half Back Texas 2006 — No Pick — — [w] 2007 31 Greg Olsen Tight End Miami 2008 14 Chris Williams Offensive tackle Vanderbilt 2009 — No Pick — — [x] 2010 — No Pick — — [x] 2011 29 Gabe Carimi Offensive tackle Wisconsin 2012 19 Shea McClellin Defensive end Boise State 2013 20 Kyle Long Offensive tackle Oregon 2014 14 Kyle Fuller Cornerback Virginia Tech 2015 7 Kevin White Wide Receiver West Virginia For the sake of a fun exercise, the Bears 1st round picks post 1990 were pretty mehhh too. Outside of Urlacher, and maybe Carrier and Tommy Harris, there aren't much else to show for (David Terrell. yuck...). Ooops, forgot that Rexy did lead us to a SB, that counts for something, amIrite? Fuller has been better lately, Long is 2/2 in Pro Bowls, McClellin has been decent and Olsen might be the 2nd best TE in football.
  8. QUOTE (kevo880 @ Nov 25, 2015 -> 10:08 AM) Lol what? There have been trades, but I wouldn't say "tons". Hardly any FA's have signed. It's just a slow start to the offseason transactions. Do you really not sense his overwhelming sarcasm here?
  9. RT @JonHeymanCBS: Chisox sign Alex Avila. 1 year, $2.5M, team announces.w
  10. Kevin White to practice today per Rich Campbell
  11. QUOTE (shipps @ Nov 23, 2015 -> 02:52 PM) Is it me or are the beat writers either... 1. Scared of the Fox staff so they don't ask the questions we are wondering as fans. 2. They are trying to make good with Fox's staff so they keep quiet about a ton of s*** they shouldn't. 3. They are playing a loosing game of give and take when they are never getting. It seems like it is all of the above and its getting really annoying. You could have stopped with question 1 with this answer: "he won't give them s*** back for an answer anyway."
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 23, 2015 -> 01:36 PM) So, whats the hold up on Kevin White. Put him on the IR or activate him already I believe they have to decide by tomorrow. It might be next Tuesday. I thought I heard a few weeks back on a Tuesday "in 3 weeks from today, they must decide on White." I might be wrong
  13. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 23, 2015 -> 01:10 PM) You better have a stud coach lined up already if you are going to fire Les Miles and pay him $15 mil to go away. Jimbo Fisher
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 06:00 PM) Against that D with those wideouts, amazing we were in the game. We could have just as easily won it, but man it is tough to score in the red zone when you lack playmakers and guys who can get open. Jay had the bad pick, which looked as much a bad throw as a bad decision, but if you factor in all the interference yards, that was a solid offensive performance. He again, by and large, did a great job using his mobility to buy time, just couldn't get it all to work. And unlike past years, despite everything going against him, when push came to shove, we had a shot to send it to OT. The one thing we have done all year in the Gase offense is struggle in the red zone and I fully believe it is because we have rarely had playmakers. When we have had the playmakers we have been just fine in the red zone. Disagree. They had Bennett, Royal, Jeffery and Forte in Detroit and the red zone struggles were happening then as well
  15. QUOTE (scs787 @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 05:21 PM) Broncos 2nd and 3rd levels are their strengths though. Not sure those little screens work against them. A well executed screen works on anybody. It's not like the Rams' back 7 is terrible
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 04:34 PM) Maybe they just didn't like their personnel against the Broncos defense Well yeah anytime you're without your top 3 wideouts and #1 RB you'll likely not love the matchup but isn't that the time where you go to what's been working best?
  17. The more I think about it: I can't remember one screen play today. After last week how does Gase not dial up at least 3 screens for Langford?
  18. QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 04:06 PM) Cowherd really going out on a limb there. Last year his sources had Chip Kelly to Florida. He has a lot of connections in LA
  19. http://m.campussports.net/colin-cowherd-cl...eting-big-hire/ Saban, Kelly, (dare I say) Gruden or *gulp* Carroll??
  20. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 03:19 PM) Jeff Fisher should be out of a job tomorrow morning. Awful football coach. *posts from 2013* But yes I'm shocked he has lasted this long
  21. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 22, 2015 -> 03:10 PM) Broncos did the same thing though. Denver has the top D in the game. They were also winning.
  22. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Nov 20, 2015 -> 12:40 PM) Royal is out. Jeffery will play. McPhee should play it sounds like. Grasu back at C. You sure about Jeffery?
  23. The Hawks are playing with seven 4th liners. Not good
  24. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Nov 21, 2015 -> 02:16 AM) Kind of surprising how much Tuevo and Dano really do help offensively. Not really sure I'd agree on Dano, but Teuvo, yes.
  25. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 10:43 PM) It sucks to see Toews rot on a line with Hossa. Hossa doesn't look good and neither does the Toews line. I was with you 3 games ago, but Hossa now has 2 goals and an assist in his last 3 games. Hopefully it was just a slow start and not a sign of rapid aging.
