  1. The Hawks have had 6 or 7 A/A+ chances including an empty net miss by Desjardins & a post by Panarin. What can you do?
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 10:01 AM) Jay Zawaski ‏@JayZawaski670 10m10 minutes ago The Blackhawks have signed Kyle Cumiskey to a one-year deal. And then put him on waivers
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 13, 2015 -> 06:32 PM) Cubs have not impressed me that much so far. Bullpen is s***. Bring on the mets. People have said this now for months. Stop. They're good and the Sox are s***.
  4. QUOTE (LDF @ Oct 13, 2015 -> 11:21 AM) regardless of the bolland comment, i was just pointing out that these first 2 lines may be the best the hawks have had in a while. that is all. I said that this year, his linemates (the two forwards he plays with) are better. You bolded it and said you're unsure if it's correct. Now, you're saying you agree? I'm confused.
  5. QUOTE (LDF @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 06:16 AM) i don't know if the bold is correct. i think he may have a renewed interest in doing better, the off season comes to mind. also, the team first two lines are really more spread out, talent wise. i like to say it is equally deeper. before, there was only 1 mega line, Toews Hossa and Kane, now the hawks can roll out 2 lines that are dangerous and unless a team has two shutdown lines, the other will kill them. now, the hawks also have the excitement of having a very special talent and put that on the same line as kane..... wow. just my 2 cents. He played a lot of 2010 with Dave Bolland. Dave Bolland sucks.
  6. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 13, 2015 -> 01:11 AM) He averaged 1 point a game last season. Where are you finding those other 20 points from? My answer would be "Panarin and Anisimov." Let's say you're spot on and it's 82 points for Kane this year. If you don't think Panarin can end with 18...
  7. Paul Finebaum believes Sumlin & Chip Kelly will be the top candidates for the Southern Cal job
  8. Bruce Feldman writes that USC should go after Brian Kelly and Jim Mora which both would make me happy. He then ends it by saying maybe Pete Carroll would come back which would make me want to do a handstand across the Dan Ryan.
  9. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 08:54 AM) OK guys, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but come on. They're not beating good teams. And they're doing so on quite a bit of luck. Yes, Cutler made some great throws, but those are throws that connect 1 out of 10 times. And he got two of them in close succession. And they were two, late, come from behind victories. Tanking and getting the best draft pick possible is still the play here. Going 8-8 and getting the 15th pick is not good long term. So, when they lose to the 3 best teams in the NFC without like 8 of their starters, they suck. When they beat the Chiefs and Raiders without like 8 of their starters, they still suck. IIRC, if you take out Denver and Green bay the rest of their schedule combines for a record of 12-29. There are a lot of rough looking teams.
  10. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 03:01 PM) The definitely mean Jeff Fisher. He went there. I said Jimbo. I don't know who he meant. A lot of people think Fisher would leave FSU for the right gig, particularly if Saban leaves Alabama.
  11. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 11, 2015 -> 08:53 PM) More than 20% better than his best ever season 5 years ago? Ehhh, I don't know about that. Last year he gets it if he stays healthy. I'd say he's a better player now than 2010 and his linemates are better.
  12. Would you rather they finish with a top 3 pick or to see guys like Ferguson, Sutton, Goldman, Amos, Grasu, McPhee, and Wilson improve week by week? Give me the latter. If Goldman and Amos continue to play well along with Grasu, I trust Pace can find another good player at 15 just as he could at 3.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 11, 2015 -> 07:33 PM) Jeff Fisher and Chip Kelly will be top two, IMO Dark horse: Kyle Whittingham
  14. So sad to see USC this way. Haden and Sark both need to go. If Saban leaves Alabama as the rumor goes, do everything you can. If not, Chip Kelly, Jimbo Fisher and Kevin Sumlin have to be their first 3 calls.
  15. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Oct 11, 2015 -> 03:17 PM) should have just went for the hail mary lolz That's hard when your QB can't throw a football 49 yards
  16. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 11, 2015 -> 12:23 PM) Right, but if Kane stays healthy for the whole season then I think he could easily surpass his point total from last year. And honestly, this year's rookie class is so much more appealing than last year's, I wouldn't be surprised if Panarin can get more than 34. Kane may have 100 on his own if he plays all 82 (barring injury/jail time)
  17. Since Langford's catch do the Bears have a 1st down?
  18. Maybe that's why Grasu was a healthy inactive the first 4 weeks??
  19. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 11, 2015 -> 02:28 AM) I don't know about 100 from just Kane, but I did tweet yesterday a prediction that Kane and Panarin will COMBINE for 100 points this season. They work together beautifully. I think something would have to go terribly wrong if they didn't combine for 100 points.
  20. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 02:52 PM) 99.9% sure Nick Chubb just blew out his knee. He couldn't go pro under the NFL's rules but every single player that is good enough to be a first or second round pick should never come back for their SR year. IMO, if a player gets a top 32 grade from the NFL- no matter their grade or age- they should be eligible to enter the draft
  21. QUOTE (LDF @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 02:55 PM) yes i agree. but there is the potential of skills there, i am not saying turn a blank eye, but unless the whole sport of hockey provide some major help. however i have faith in the hawks org to also provide help when asked. i am not cold blooded on this right or wrong, but that 3 or 4 line needs some help. however this is only 2 games and i am not crying firing. btw, a great counter. Sorry but no
  22. As I said.. Fire Sark. Maybe they'll be lucky enough to see Chip Kelly get fired and he would fall right into their laps
  23. Yeah it's been 21 minutes and I've already seen enough of Svedberg
  24. QUOTE (LDF @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 10:54 PM) Viktor Svedberg is one huge dman. standing 6'8 and he does have potential. now if that can be seen during a game. i see his height and potential of a shut down part of his game, which reminds on paper of Zdeno Chara who stand at 6'9. He has no potential of a shut down anything.
