  1. Not that I need to say this and I'm sure I'll jinx it but christ the Sox are just no fun to watch offensively
  2. The Sox really need Abreu, Moncada and Anderson to start hitting, specifically in the XBH category. Let's go guys. Go into the ASB by finishing 13-5 or 14-4.
  3. And I could see the Sox laughing in their faces
  4. But the Indians lost one of their catchers!!!!!1!1
  5. Condesending = true. Sorry that hurts your feelings that good teams lose 4 games in a row on occasion. For the record You refuted TWO of my many points that I made. I apologize that the Sox got swept. I apologize that a lot of us realize that with Robert, Madrigal and Jimenez the Sox would probably be 20 games over and a 4 game sweep wouldn't be time to trade everyone. So yeah, why don't you GFY instead.
  6. You're special They're in first place. You're insinuating that they're 5 under .500 and in 3rd. They got swept by a good team. The 2005 team got swept 4 times . Fucking relax dude
  7. They're gaining ground on the Sox because the Sox just played 2 of the best teams in baseball and lost 5/7 while the Indians just had the benefit of playing 2 of the worst teams in baseball and won 5/7. No available third starter for the playoffs? What does that even mean? Let's assume you mean Kopech. It's 6/21. I'd bet you my life savings he's back by 10/1. Even if not, they'd STILL have a third starter for the playoffs (Rodon). Mets and Padres may have lost more guys than the Sox, but I'm not so sure the 3 that the Sox lost are less important to the Sox than anyone else that NYM or SD may have lost. Oh, and Cleveland has been "without their ace (Bauer)" for about 680 days now. 5 days ago you were probably stoked by the Sox performance. Now you want everyone dealt because they got swept by a good team. Take a breather
  8. It's getting really hard to watch Mercedes I'm squirmin' to watch Yermin take a flight to Charlotte at this stage
  9. After these 4 games, the Sox go into the ASB with 2 vs Pittsburgh, 3 vs Seattle, 7 vs Minnesota, 3 vs Detroit and 3 vs Baltimore. They'll be fine
  10. Emotional late inning home win against a great team followed by a road game in front of 8,000 people. It's not an excuse but one of my brother's friends played a short time in the NFL and he told me once that after a big win at home it's rare that those teams cover the spread the following week. I assume it's similar in baseball
  11. As opposed to shitting it with something else?
  12. After Cease threw a heater for a waste pitch, Beckham predicted something offspeed. When Benetti asked him which one, he said "change up, slider, curve, I'm not sure." Gee Gordon you don't say
  13. Yoan made an awful throw because it takes time to remember how to throw. Good call, Gordon ?
  14. Again I understand from a business standpoint why it WILL have a roof. I'm just saying from a fan standpoint the cold has always been a part of the organization and I enjoy watching teams like Minnesota and Detroit come here in the cold.
  15. I've never had an issue getting to and from SF and I come from NWI ( @WhiteSoxFan1993) so I'd honestly hate this move, but I get the lure of a giant stadium. My only wish is if the McCaskey's don't sell that it's still outdoors. NYC has all kinds of events and they're outdoors still. If this happens though and they win the bidding, sell the team to Bezos prior to 2033 so he can make the first $10B stadium.
  16. Yeah, skew it all you want. After 25 minutes of the first game of the series your mind was made up, but no one is surprised. It's your gig after all. Keep up the bad work
