They lead the league in errors. Moncada and Vaughn aren't hitting. The bullpen hasn't been great. Jimenez and Anderson are hurt
I'm not sure how adding a mediocre SP helps any of that
To be fair, anyone that loses their best power hitter and maybe now their best pure hitter is going to struggle. Who could they have signed for the bench for .325 average or 40+ homers?
I wonder if Ohtani is destined to be a closer. I worry about his arm. Perhaps he can get his control in order. I truly do not know how that would work though with him also hitting; I'm assuming it wouldn't
I would have put Bummer out there in the 8th last night, even with Trout and Rendon coming up. In hindsight I was right, but I would've rather been wrong. Let's hope LR figures this out
