I think you all misread my post. I didn't say Blackmon was young, good defensively and offensively, and had a reasonable deal. I was saying finding guys like that are hard to find. Those kind of guys aren't typically available. Blackmon is 2 of those 4 though and yeah there will be sacrifices made- specifically defensively- but he can hit and his contract isn't awful. That's all I was saying.

Finding someone who's good defensively, good offensively, young, and has a great contract are hard to find. Blackmon can hit & his contract isn't terrible + can probably be had somewhat inexpensively. Maybe they can acquire him & Marquez rather than the oft-rumored Lynn & Gallo trade

Blackmon would be cool I feel like that's not enough for Lynn especially with what they wanted for him at the deadline
