After spending the past half hour reading up on the latest gossip, it's gonna be an interesting week.
Astros have pretty much told KC to name who they want and it's done. Papers in NYC report that the Boss has told Cashman to do whatever it takes to keep him from Boston. That would require sending Navarro to KC ofcourse, which would in theory help the White Sox get Garcia.
The Indians of the mid 90's we're known to raise payroll. The Jake was rocking every night and they wanted to win, they're new owner isn't as loose with the money.
That being said I think they'll be something to deal with next season for sure.
No way in hell.
T-Mac would opt out of his deal for sure if he ended up here, so no way in hell. Secondly, he's a great player one of the best in the league, but on a crap team he'll play when he wants to, and that's not what this team needs.
Folks need to understand in the NBA every trade has to be equal in terms of money. Chandler and the pick are not equal to Harrington. Stop this madness now.
It's a done deal the Bulls have the 7th pick. I heard what Aldridge said last night about this particular deal. He had said the Pacers we're calling a lot of teams trying to get up in the draft to draft Jackson. However, Chandler's contract doesn't work in a trade to get Harrington so this is garbage. The contract would have to be Pippen or E-Rob.
Kenny was quoted in one of the papers as saying the trading waters are improving. Teams are starting to open up and talk deals.
I have no doubt he'll make moves, only fear is that it will be to late.
