Well number one, I don't know if the Sox offered him that. Even if they came to him with that offer, I'm sure it was deffered. Lastly, Baltimore is going to pay him more than that.

There was never a deal. Just a report from a newspaper going off of news from weeks ago. Ponson won't be coming here unless the Sox decide to act like big boys and offer real money.

The union is going to present both teams with a contract they think is right. Nothing is officialy OFF.

Exactly Jason. Everyone has worked way to hard for this deal to not get done. Rodriguez to Boston also makes lots of money for Major League Baseball.

The Rangers can't bring A-Rod back to Texas after he said he would love to play in Fenway. Red Sox cannot bring back Nomar, after what has gone down.

They have approved that, what's gonna happen is the Union and Gene Orza will present both parties with a contract that has been changed and approved by the Union.
