Long story short: Soxnet.net is no longer owned/operated by Mario. That name now belongs to the Insiders group, there was a contract dispute that is still being worked out.

Well it all depends on if they can move big contracts. If they can't move Magglio his contract is up to 14 million from the 9-10 he made last year. Carlos and Mark are up for big raises due to good performance last season.

There's a lot of free agents who aren't getting much buzz. Some of it is has to do with the Yankees-Red Sox-Rangers holding it all up. If the A-Rod deal doesn't happen, Angels and Dodgers turn their attention else where. With the Yanks if Pettite goes to Houston, then they turn elsewhere. And another point is that the owners aren't spening money like they used to.

Giants didn't offer him arb, so he's a free agent now. Like I said before, I think the Sox are gonna try to unload these contracts at the winter meetings then target pitching.

I think the Perez thing is dead, but we shall see.

Don't bet on it, the only real teams mentioned with Vlad have been the Angels and O's. The O's have no shot of ever winning while they're in the same division as the Yanks. Trust me the new Angels owner will spend.
