  1. I want Ritchie back, I think he'll turn it around. Marte has had one good year, let's see if he can do it again. Foulke won't be here the whole season, so don't count on him bucko. If Williams makes a deal like we all think he will, Valentine or Almonte is gonna have to be involved.
  2. Uhm, no. He talked about coming back to Chicago, hinting the Cubs.
  3. Jason, they'll use the civilans as shields. You'll most likely see fighting in the streets, house to house type stuff if the Iraqi army doesn't turn on Hussien.
  4. Penis had nothing to do with Mark. Ritchie was brought here to be the 2, Red wants to see Buehrle as the 2. That was my point. This is all about making the most money and I don't have a problem with it. If the season ticket holders want to go to the ASG and such, pay the season ticket prices.
  5. They think he's a numero uno. Guys better than Mark cost more than Mark.
  6. They'll put out the same "crap" we saw this past year, with some cheap guys.
  7. This season they were: Lower Deck Box: 26 Club: 26 Lower Deck Reserved: 20 Upper Deck Box: 18 Bleachers: 18 Upper Deck Reserved 12 If people want ASG tickets and such they'll have to buy season tickets, so they'll pay WHATEVER Jerry wants them to.
  8. It's genius on his part though that's for sure. Here's what douche bag Gallas had to say: Major League Baseball´s All-Star Game generates a great deal of interest and excitement throughout the host city and among its sports fans,” said Rob Gallas, White Sox senior vice president of marketing and broadcasting. “We´ve already gotten hundreds of calls. Right now, season tickets are the only way for fans to guarantee tickets to the All-Star Game, as well as other All-Star Week festivities such as the Home Run Derby, so we want to begin that process as soon as possible. “New season ticket holders will receive a discount off the individual game ticket prices, while many of our existing season ticket holders now receive their deepest discounts ever, some up to 32 percent,” Gallas said. “Both will receive options on buying tickets to all the All-Star activities. Our fans are enthusiastic and optimistic about how the team performed over the last two months of the season. Combined with the attraction of the All-Star Game, we are excited about the increase in interest in White Sox season tickets for 2003.”
  9. click me New individual-game ticket prices for 2003 White Sox games will be: lower deck box, $29; lower deck reserved, $24; bleacher, $22; upper deck box, $20 and upper deck reserved, $14. Ticket prices for All-Star Week events, including the 74th All-Star Game, will be announced at a future date.
  10. Clayton is a penis that is 100% fact. You can't be telling me that's false. Wells and Lofton are guys you just don't want in your clubhouse.
  11. Clayton that is fact. Thomas isn't liked by some of his teamates. Valentin is a nice guy. Durham wasn't a cancer, just lazy. Wells was a penis, Lofton, penis. Very simple.
  12. The big thing coming out of this was that any trade is going to be minor league guys only. That was basically what he said. He mentioned Valentine and Almonte would be at Spring Training. So there not going anywhere. Have to wonder who he could deal.
  13. Mets people think he's a control freak, don't want him.
  14. Bucks' the new Rangers skipper. Click Me
  15. I think he'll end up as a free agent. Even if the Rays or whomever get first crack at him, he's going to command way more than they can afford.
  16. Oh no. Then people would actually care and b**** if the team didn't win. I prefer to get a winning season every now and then, as opposed to expecting a team to do well, knowing they'll fall flat on their ass.
  17. Well then you wouldn't last very long under Jerry Reinsdorf you money spending freak!
  18. Well if this was the mid 90's I'd say it was before he hired "I was saying fair, and he was saying foul".
  19. From the SunTimes: Mike Scioscia as manager of the White Sox? It could have happened, former Dodgers general manager Fred Claire says. In the mid-'90s, Sox general manager Ron Schueler called to ask permission to talk to Scioscia. It was fine with Claire, but Scioscia declined because he felt he needed more seasoning as an instructor and minor-league manager. "It was typical of Mike to have a plan to get the experience he felt he needed before taking a job, even though his goal was to manage at the major-league level,'' Claire said Tuesday. "I felt he would and should be manager of the Dodgers one day.'' The irony is that after managing in the Dodgers' minor-league organization, Scioscia was let go and now finds himself managing the Angels in the American League Championship Series. Everybody knows where we can find the White Sox, of course.
  20. If this was a fantasy site it'd be great. But no trade will occur.
