  1. I was at the game tonight in SEC 212. The 3rd period was really exciting. The first two periods weren't very pretty and the power play is still horrible. Did Bonda leave the game? I don't recall seeing him much, after he got banged up early in the 1st. EDIT: I'd like to add that I thought Boucher did a good job in his 2 periods of play, and that the crowd was great tonight.
  2. This thread makes me very sad. What have I done with my life?
  3. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 24, 2006 -> 03:44 PM) Brian Anderson is now listed as a rightfielder on his WhiteSox.com page.... SCOOPS~!
  4. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 24, 2006 -> 11:26 AM) Yep...I may have Rainbow 6 pretty soon. Right now I just have an Xbox Live free month of gold but hopefully by Christmas that will change It should, I hear you are rolling in dollar bills. Literally... Common now that's not right.
  5. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Dec 24, 2006 -> 11:21 AM) Yes...I'm sure that's exactly how you run a Multi-Million dollar sports franchise. What? I heard that's how it went down... How dare you even suggest otherwise.
  6. This whole "sources" deal is getting my last nerve. Seriously. Form your own opinion & believe what you want to. It is common knowledge that Sox players whether they be minor or at one point on the roster, have posted here. Put it together kids. EDIT: Please, just let this "sources" deal die and continue debating whether this was a good move or not.
  7. QUOTE(3E8 @ Dec 23, 2006 -> 05:28 PM) I bet the information is that our organization knows it f***ed up McCarthy's development by placing him in the bullpen and rather than spend more time off his arb clock to fix him, they'd rather get a pitcher of similar stature who hasn't hit the bigs yet. I could be wrong. Indeed, wrong.
  8. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Dec 23, 2006 -> 05:19 PM) What a total b****. Congrats on the SD team turning on Zidian though for doing what she did to Vickie. And should Johnny Ace really be a talent relations person anymore after these multiple steamers of models with no wrestling experience being total airheads when it comes to the biz? Jesus H. Christ. Johnny Ace is a f***ing moron, but he's doing what McMahon wants. He's got no problem being the bad guy, because he gets paid very well to do it.
  9. SSI, don't forget the raise for Walker.
  10. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 10:36 PM) It'd be nice if we could score in a f***ing shootout. 1 for 6, damn PP seemed brutal tonight. Please be ready this weekend Marty.
  11. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:46 PM) I'm not a big Gavin Floyd fan but I think he's the type of guy that needs a change of scenery and I'll take Gio over any of the prospects you all talked about aside from Danks/Hurley/Pelfrey so I really am not that dissapointed. Especially because i think we will see Floyd and someone moved for Baldelli. HEY J~! Agreed.
  12. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:27 PM) The managers are back. I don't even want to get into it. You know where I'm coming from though, Greasy. I'll just sit back and watch it all unfold.
  13. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Dec 5, 2006 -> 02:40 PM) Watch Vince fold up ECW and change its name to WCW. I just have this wierd feeling he is going to bring that promotion back and put Bischoff in charge No chance.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Dec 5, 2006 -> 12:03 AM) Pirates LHP starter. Nothing special...especially if they give up Jennings AND Hawpe. OK. And why would the Rockies want Jacque Jones? Anyone know?
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Dec 4, 2006 -> 11:59 PM) According to ESPN's Steve Phillips, the Rockies, Cubs and Pirates have discussed a three-team trade that would sent Jason Jennings to Chicago; Jacque Jones, Carlos Marmol and Paul Maholm to Colorado and Brad Hawpe to Pittsburgh If this trade really happens, can we conclude that it's a conspiracy by MLB to get the Cubs into the World Series? That would be a ridiculous trade by Colorado. Whom might I ask is Paul Maholm? Minor league guy?
  16. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 29, 2006 -> 10:42 PM) No, more Freel talk. Good player, but I'm getting sick of hearing about Farney..... Oh. I wouldn't want him myself. I sense that whenever a Sox trade is made people will not be happy.
  17. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 29, 2006 -> 10:39 PM) Here we go.... What? You mean more Crawford talk?
  18. I'm bored. Maybe I'll watch the Sox pride DVD. YEAH~! Have a good one, you wacky members of Soxtalk.
  19. So, I just read what Ken wrote, and I don't see what the big deal is.
  20. QUOTE(The Critic @ Nov 17, 2006 -> 06:31 PM) Who wins more games: 2006-7 Chicago Blackhawks or 2007 White Sox? ...I couldn't bring myself to type that without the green... How about this season's Hawk win total + next season vs. 07 Sox?
  21. QUOTE(The Critic @ Nov 17, 2006 -> 06:29 PM) C'mon, Show, I know why they chose the acronym, I'm just saying that they chose a LOUSY acronym. Hell, even "Violent Killing Machines" would have been a better name. I can see why Brian Armstrong would use HHH and HBK's real names, but his sidekick, good ol' Monty Sopp, might want to avoid shooting on peoples' real names. I don't find Nash funny or entertaining in any way - his act was tired by 2000. I enjoy LAX, the Border Toss is my current favorite move, but that skit didn't help them in any way. And I am not buying that slob with the tit-high workout shorts being a "killer", either. Eh, don't care about the VKM name. The angle is lame because there's no pay off. Well, agree to disagree on Nash I suppose. LAX needs to be over as true heels, they're the cool heels now. It's cheap heat I agree. Jesus, that's brutal.
  22. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 17, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) I think the presence of Nash in TNA is a positive. His promos are great still. Guess it is an aquired taste. I would love for him to be one of the announcers on Raw instead of Lawler someday. Nash is great on the mic, but he wouldn't be a good announcer in the true since. He uses a lot of inside jokes and terms that most of the audience wouldn't get, and he's out to put himself over.
