  1. Sox and Roll radio will be live on air at 5:30 pm ct Saturday the 9th! Guido, Joe Pessi, myself and Critic will be in studio. Heavy metal, beer, Jack Daniels, and 4 die hard Sox fans cheering for a Sox winner. Tell me this dont sound like fun? Since I'm a dumbasss with no time , I haven't figured out how to upload our web page with the software i bought so here are the direct links to the site. http://66.117.2.27:8102/listen.pls For dial up users http://66.117.2.27:8104/listen.pls High speed connection only. (Much shorter delay) If you have trouble tuning in, please email us an hour before the show at least. [email protected] so we can help you out. Our show works best with winamp (preferred) media player or real one. The broadcaster is only turned on 2 hours before and after our live broadcasts. So these links will be dead until 3:30pm tomorrow. It just costs too damn much to run it around the clock And by the way. This is not for kids.
  2. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) Has anyone done a monthly wallpaper wth schedule? I couldn't find it, if one was posted. And if someone is going to do one, could you please put the schedule on the right side of the screen? Icons take up about 1/2 my screen. If I get free time in the next day or two I'll make one.
  3. Maury if you can hop on aim, I did send an email in. ... But aim is easier...
  4. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 09:49 PM) Good question. Either way, this move buys them time. The more difficult decision comes when Thomas is ready to rejoin the team. One other thing ... if Davis is indeed being optioned as the Score says, this reinforces something a few on this board have stated for a while now ... Also reinforces that Levine should stick to covering the Cubs..
  5. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 12:29 AM) And the collective group of metalheads is now saying 'WTF IS THIS?!' Man, I remember when Critic did his Macho Man rap to the "up in here" song. Man that was great.
  6. QUOTE(Cali @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 11:58 PM) I meant someone who is IM'ing them to tell them to check the e-mail for mine. The delay is a killer right now, it's atleast a minute to 2 minutes. So aim isn't the best option. During the season it should improve.
  7. QUOTE(Cali @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 11:55 PM) So, does that mean you're up to the task? I wish I was there right now, I live about an hour from the studio's. The show is quite dirty right now..
  8. QUOTE(Cali @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 11:50 PM) Someone needs to tell these drunken assholes to stop checking the IM's and check the actual e-mails, cause I sent them one. My damn AIM is on the fritz so I can't get on. f***ers need to check that e-mails
  9. I was shocked to hear this as well. I gotta think that they asked Lebron for his thoughts on this.
  10. This game has been horrible. Deng needs to hurry back.
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 06:55 PM) I found out recently that we will be getting CSN here in the O-town megalopolis on April 1. I'm pleased. I'm exicted. I'm gonna have Sox coverage for the first time since October. Now I've found out in the Des Moines region covered by Mediacom, including Ames, where I will be going to college next year, they will drop FSN Chicago in favor of FSN Midwest, meaning that when I move in August, I will miss the majority of Sox games. This normally wouldn't cause an uproar except for the unusually high number of Cubs fans who are already complaining about it. If you live in central Iowa or another region going through this same situation I suggest you get in touch with Mediacom to tell them how you feel. Shoot, I think it's ridiculous the city with the friggin' Cubs AAA affiliate will see twice the number of Cards games than Cubs games. That and my 99 Sox games. I don't understand. How does losing FSN have anything to do with the Sox?
  12. Bulls finally showing some signs of life. 26-19.
  13. The green seats close to the Club level are in, and look nice. Head over to whitesox.com and click "renovations", there is a March 3rd and another update.
  14. QUOTE(bulokis @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 07:42 AM) that's all I can think of with this article. heard levine yesterday said look for the whitesox to trade for a SS/3B but he said no names yet. Levine is such a wind bag. I'm stunned when he actually knows the players currently on the team, forget players who we might acquire.
  15. Game will be on ESPN2 and Comcast today. For those old school fans, the game will also be broadcast on radio. 1:05 CST start.
  16. QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 03:04 PM) That's so weird. All my other channels have audio, but not ComCast. I wanted to hear Al Michaels and Tim McCarver's call of this blowout... I liked Brenley when he was on FOX, but I don't like him here. Kasper is bland, but I think had they kept Stone, they would've worked well.
  17. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 03:03 PM) Who has pitched for the Flubbies today? Sounds like the Sox are starting to see the ball a little better down in zona!!! Dempster and Rusch.
  18. QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 03:02 PM) Is there a problem with ComCast's audio, or are the Cub announcers just speechless? I haven't had sound in almost an inning. I've heard them.
  19. QUOTE(valponick @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 02:03 PM) OK so is he doing the game on Comcast w/Hawk or on ESPN for the national broadcast? I hope its not on ESPN, I just got done talking s*** to a couple of my friends who are cub fans. I heard him on the Score when he made the comments. However, he wasn't very specific. I would think if he was doing the game with the Hawk, the Sox would put out some sort of press release. Then again, if he working with ESPN, you'd think they'd also have something out there saying he works with them. So, to answer what you asked, I don't know.
  20. The game is also going to be on ESPN tomorrow, maybe he's got a job with ESPN. I could've swore he said Comcast though.
  21. QUOTE(Purdue129 @ Mar 11, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) sorta off topic, but Sunday's game isn't on TV anywhere, correct? Yep.
  22. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 08:02 PM) I try to be.
  23. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 07:56 PM) How did you zip up his fly???? TREMENDOUS.... I had to think about that for a second. For those that don't know, in an image from today's game, there was a shot like the one described above. To answer the question, I used a different photo.
