Thomas put up OPS's of 1.006 and .975 in 1991 and 1992, but did not make the All Star Team. McGwire made both those years, and Palmeiro was there in 91 as well.
Frank was then in the high .800's in 98-99, didn't make the AS team, while Palmeiro did.
Then had his return season in 2000, 1.061 OPS, first place team, and Jason Giambi started the AS game. And once again, 2003, the same story. Frank hit 42 HR, mid .900's OPS, Giambi was the AS reserve.
There's at least 4 years where he was a deserving all star but had the roiders in front of him, and then maybe 2 more if he got the same kind of credit that anyone else got.
also a 2 time MVP probably would have been top 2 with Griffey in 94 minus the strike and he will be in the HOF before all those juicers. He was screwed by Giambi big time and probably is the greatest White Sox of all time.
