I've no leaning towards one team or another, as I don't really watch American Football at all, but just going to watch this for the craic and struggle into work in the morning. I suppose I'll just wait and see if one team annoys me some way to push me towards cheering for the other team.

I haven't really been around here as much as I would have liked for quite a while. SouthsideSox and podcasts are a good help as well. I hope to get the time to check in here a bit more regularly for the new season - can't wait for it to be up and running again. I haven't attended a game - I've never been to the U.S. - but would really love to at some stage. My experience of following the Sox from Ireland is 'Thank Jaysus for the internet!!' I do know a couple of guys that are into the baseball - indeed, one is also a Sox fan, one a Red Sox, one a Cubs man from a summer he spent in Chicago, and my uncle is a Yankees man. Funnily, I only became aware of their interest after I had developed my own. The time difference is the worst thing in terms of actually being able to watch games as well as balancing work, family life, and my other sporting interests. It's been really great so far, I'm glad I joined Soxtalk, and I'm glad that I chose the White Sox as my team. Let's Go, Go Go White Sox!!!

Sonik, sounds like you both need to chill out a bit on having a set age to be/not to be married by. Having said that, don't feel forced into anything. If there's no chilling out to be done, it sounds like it's not a goer at the moment. The lifelong dream to be in whatever the f### it is that you're being such an unsupportive bastard about... With only the most superficial of knowledge about your situation, I'm suspecting that's one of those moments in a relationship where you can't blink first. If you're not single by then, of course.

Haven't been on much recently, at all. But, I've two of you as friends on Facebook. Think there's a couple on Twitter too, but I never really use that. If I ever make it to Chicago, it would be good to meet up with some of you.

Have accounts on both, but use Facebook much more. Hardly ever use Twitter, to be honest.

What weight would a "stick" of butter be in grams for this macaroni and cheese recipe? A standard block of butter here is 454g, but that sounds like a feck load of butter to be putting in anything. You lot and your crazy recipe measurements.
