The hardest part with Bally's is trying to get the contract settled. They like to play a lot of games with the pricing, so you have to read it very carefully. Each club is different as far as equipment, amenities, etc. I haven't been to the Oak Lawn club in yrs, so I can't comment on that one. I will never go back to the club in Schaumburg on Meacham because of the filthy shower area, and what goes on in the showers. The only reason I renewed my membership was because of the price they offered. I'm paying $96 for the yr. If they offer the same price next yr, I'll renew again. When I stopped my membership, it was up to $180/yr and for the difference in price, I would rather pay for Lifetime Fitness. Those were much cleaner and had a lot more equipment so you weren't always waiting for someone or trying to work in with them. I would suggest to workout there for a couple of weeks or so and see if you like it. If they don't want to offer you that, question what they are trying to hide.

What's a "challange"?

If you want to learn about Christ, then go to church. Any and all religion should be taught by the church and family or in a school funded by the church. I don't want my tax dollars going toward any religion.

I have to agree with Nuke and Cubkilla here. I don't care what we do to people that don't agree with our way of life and I'm willing to sacrafice Nuke times 10,000 to keep my way of life. Nuke, I'd hate to see you get beheaded on some video, but that's the type of war we're fighting now. Just make sure you get them before they get you or don't let them take you alive. They'll probably torture the American soldiers the worst.

And driving isn't a moral issue like havng sex. Next thing we'll hear is parents wanting to purchase liquor for underage kids because they will probably drink anyway, so they might as well teach them how to drink safely.

It sounds like he is doing fine. Jim has him throwing every other day and then a simulated game on Saturdays. He does infield and batting practice on his non-throwing days.

The electric fence requires a few weeks of training. You have to install it, then flag the area, then walk the dog on a leash to get him/her used to where the boundary(flags) is. You're supposed to have the dog on a leash and walk them towards the fence which is marked off with flags. When you reach the flag, you correct the dog as the collar starts to beep. The collar beeps when the dog reaches a certain distance from the fence, if the dog keeps going, the collar will shock it. You're not supposed to leave the dog out on it's own for about a week or so, which means walking the dog everytime it wants to go out. If you don't want to spend a couple weeks training the dog, don't get the fence.

They got the foil on? We sure could have used them when the twinkies were in town. Is Dave back with the Dead Things?

Yeah. I liked Quisp too. Quake was the same as Capn Sugar, better known as Capn Crunch. And I forgot about Speed Racer.

Gotta love this Steff: The only unique function of the Jamaican food culture is the drinking that occurs during the reggae concerts. The concerts occur almost everywhere in smaller, more rural areas, and the Jamaicans drink a great deal of rum. Rum is an alternative income for the estates when the sugar production is not good. No religious feasting seems to occur in Jamaica, oddly enough, since a great deal of feasting tends to occur on holidays. Rum consumption is the Jamaican's main way to celebrate a festive occasion.

Any doubt as to why AROW needs to be in the lineup

baggio202 Posted on Jul 2 2004, 11:16 PM I thought C Lee was an infielder(3b?) thrown into left? I don't know about everybody else, but getting rid of Maggs to pick up a CF that can't hit doesn't sound all that good to me just so we could have another #3 type starter. I want Mulder quality if we are going to lose Maggs' bat. And isn't Jones making almost the same as what Maggs is asking? -
I think you spelled Limbaugh wrong.

Bush is now correcting Clinton's "mistake" of not killing Muslims and for allowing Sadaam to start backing the Iraqi oil with the Euro instead of American currency. We should have went in and destroyed Al Qaeda in Somalia and squished the Islam extremists right then and there. Now that we have the Middle East stirred up, let's get the draft going and eliminate all the religious fanatics over there that just want to kill us and put the Kurds in charge. We can start sending the prisoners in Guatanemo Bay to Israel to stand trial for connections with suicide bombings. If they don't want to live peacefully with other religions, then screw em, they can sit in hell with the rest of the suiciders.

Maybe that beat writer reads the Sox message boards and is reporting what he is reading.

I didn't vote because I consider Schoenweiss our 5th starter. If we pickup another Schoenweiss type pitcher, we aren't improving enough to win. I don't think Schoenweiss will have enough left in him come the end of the yr. Remember how tired Loaiza was last yr late in September? I think we will see the same from Schoenweiss this yr unless we can get his innings down a little. We need to pickup a top of the line pitcher or we'll see the Sox fade late in the yr again.

How about this gem? We had joy, we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the hills we would climb Were just seasons out of time. All our lives we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the stars we could reach Were just starfish on the beach. Verse 1 Adieu, Emile, my trusted friend, We've known each other since we were nine or ten, Together we climbed hills and trees, Learned of love and a - b - c's, Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees, Adieu, Emile, it's hard to die, When all the birds are singing in the sky, Now that spring is in the air, Pretty girls are ev'rywhere, Think of me and I'll be there, We had joy, we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the hills we would climb Were just seasons out of time. All our lives we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the stars we could reach Were just starfish on the beach. Verse 2 Adieu, Papa, please pray for me, I was the black sheep of the family, You tried to teach me right from wrong, Too much wine and too much song, Wonder how I got along. Adieu, Papa, it's hard to die, When all the birds are singing in the sky, Now that spring is in the air, Pretty girls are ev'rywhere, Think of me and I'll be there, We had joy, we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the hills we would climb Were just seasons out of time. All our lives we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the stars we could reach Were just starfish on the beach. Verse 3 Adieu, Francoise, my trusted wife, Without you, I'd have had a lonely life, You cheated lots of times, but then, I forgave you in the end, Tho' your lover was my friend. Adieu, Francoise, it's hard to die, When all the birds are singing in the sky, Now that spring is in the air, Pretty girls are ev'rywhere, Think of me and I'll be there. We had joy, we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the hills we would climb Were just seasons out of time. All our lives we had fun, We had seasons in the sun, But the stars we could reach Were just starfish on the beach.

That night game could possibly be a riot on the north side. With all the tension on that side of town this yr, they shouldn't have changed it to a night game and just put the game on Fox in the afternoon. I could see the city of Chicago getting a big black eye on national tv that weekend. I hope I'm wrong, but I got a bad feeling about that series being up there this yr on a holiday weekend.
