  1. so AJ gets in trouble for slapping the plate and then clapping his hands this weekend. I guess the cubs are robots.
  2. QUOTE(3E8 @ May 22, 2006 -> 12:11 PM) This is undoubtedly the best fast food commercial ever I'd really like to shake the hand of whoever came up with that.
  3. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ May 22, 2006 -> 09:02 AM) Movie? what they showed last night was: Stewie Griffin - The Untold Story Which was released in september.

    ACT Jitters

    congrats keed
  5. Family Guy has fallen hard from the high pedestal it had about a year ago. It sucked this season.
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 21, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) He lost his standing ovation from me and a lot of self respecting other fans with the pathetic way he went out. However he SHOULD NOT BE BOOED, and if he is I'll be very dissapointed. if you're not the biggest fan of frank, this is the right attitude.
  7. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 21, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) Good. You can stay home and trim your 4 moustache hairs.
  8. QUOTE(MayIHelpYouMrLennon? @ May 21, 2006 -> 03:54 PM) If Detroit keeps it up (which I kind of doubt) I dont know how easy it's gonna be to wait 2 months. We've got way too many pitchers pidgenholed in the minors and a Bullpen thats below-average.. this is a good opportunity to open up spots for those guys in the future and get some Bullpen arms so we dont toss away gems like Contreras today. we have the 2nd best record in baseball. We'll be fine.
  9. Sad Stuff. The dog is such a nice guy.
  10. QUOTE(JimH @ May 21, 2006 -> 03:54 PM) He will be given a long loud standing ovation tomorrow night, White Sox fans will show class. another factor to take in. Tommorow is half price monday, we all know from previous experience that half price nights tend to attract a certain type of crowd.
  11. we'll know in 2 months when teams start dropping.
  12. I will feel downright disgusted if I hear alot of boos on TV tommorow.
  13. That's the worst way to lose right there.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ May 21, 2006 -> 02:14 PM) I still can't believe they didn't toss him after drilling Iguchi in the upper shoulder. After what happened yesterday, there should have been zero tolerance. i really have no doubt that the pitch was accidental.
  15. what happened? i missed whatever zambrano did
  16. i love how nancy keeps playing that 'bad day' song
  17. yuck. I think they're awful
  18. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 21, 2006 -> 09:25 AM) Can somebody PLEASE tell me what AJP has done in his career to get the title of instigator? If he's such the agitator and instigator, how come I never heard about him until we signed him? If he was so big as to be close to a TO of the NFL, as it seems some people think he is, you would think I would have heard of him. um, pretty sure that every sox fan in the world hated him when he was with the twins. And then he went to the giants and had a whole bunch of problems. It was pretty well known
  19. QUOTE(wallyburger @ May 21, 2006 -> 07:27 AM) How is A J different than Torii Hunter? Baseball needs to take thet play out of baseball. Maybe players will just start crashing into infielders on DP balls next. Barrett probably did what every other catcher , who has been cheap shotted would like to do. A J wasn't cheap shotted. Obviously he is no fighter. You don't stick your face in someone else's unless you want to get popped, and that sorry ass excuse will get him about 5 games. Brian Anderson will cost himself at least 5 games. His action was idiotic. What in Hell did Mabry do? A baseball that turns into a hockey game is embarassing. BTW, anybody remember AJ stepping on the 3B as he was rounding the bag earlier. That was as bad as Marcus Vick stomping on Dumerville. That will tell you what a jerk off A J is. this is probably the worst post in the history of soxtalk
  20. the wink smilies are intriguing
  21. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 20, 2006 -> 09:44 PM) They were already going down but ya Anderson did come out of no where and nailed barrett. his jumping punches are brilliant
  22. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 20, 2006 -> 08:54 PM) I have a tough time blaming people who were born into it. I can't imagine it's easy to stop rooting for a team when you've done it since you were a child. ^ I know alot of good cub fans, but then again, I know alot of bad cub fans. But hey, I know alot of awful awful sox fans too
  23. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 20, 2006 -> 05:03 PM) Why is it during that video Jennie (or whomever is narrating) accuses AJ of chirping with Barrett? It's almost as if the punch is justified in her mind. I also don't understand listening to callers who say AJ purposely bumped Barrett. Are these people watching the same video I am? He may have GRAZED Barrett. There's no in between in this issue. If someone were to poll the nation to see who's at fault, it'd probably be 70/30 in favor of Barrett. The areas opposing him coming from Los Angeles, Minnesota, and the Northside of Chicago. you can see AJ try and go around him. I really think barrett thought AJ was coming after him for whatever reason, and that's how he responded.
  24. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...cs-home-utility that link has 11 pictures, that do a great step by step of what the hell happened
