Brothers still have the long island special on Thursdays? Those were lethal.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 28, 2011 -> 12:27 PM) I really liked Always Sunny last night. The game of games was pretty good. I know I'm a little late to the game on this - but that was the best Sunny episode in ages. Got back down to the core of the show - the group, alcohol, the bar and an outrageous plan.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 08:44 PM) The new Gmail look f***ing sucks. They did the same s*** with their calendar look and I hate that too. I think email threads look way better, but overall - it just looks weird.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 1, 2011 -> 09:12 AM) The smart car, as marketed in the US, is one of the biggest fails in recent automotive history. You rarely see them even in Chicago, and not at all outside of big cities. The concept was smart - small, fuel efficient, inexpensive grocery-getter and commuter car. But in reality, it doesn't make sense to buy. If gets 20 less MPG than the Prius, 10 less than many other hybrids, and costs MORE than many of them. All for a less safe car. Yeah, smart cars just don't make sense in this market AT ALL. You can get a vehicle that actually feels like a car that gets more mileage and costs less. It's just mind boggling that someone would buy one now.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 1, 2011 -> 08:41 AM) I love my small car. I feel like i'm driving a go-kart. This. I don't find myself needing to transport giant boulders up mountains enough to want or need a pickup truck/SUV.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 31, 2011 -> 10:49 PM) That said, has anyone here taken the GMAT? How many study hours do I need to plan on? Good resources to buy? And while we are on the subject, what opinions do you guys ahve about the B-schools in Chicago? Obviously Kellogg and Booth are top in the country, but for part time (and a more reasonable expectation) I've heard decent/good things about Depaul/Loyola/UIC. They also cost less than half of Kellogg (I could afford the extra cost, but for going within a year out of undergrad that means I would be living at home for awhile ). I took it in 2009, wasn't too awful. I bought the Kaplan prep book and a book w/ full practice exams. I'd say I probably studied 10 hours a week for a month and did pretty well on it (top 20%). That score was good enough to get me a max scholarship to a smaller grad school for my MSA.

The Head and the Heart are my favorite new band.....and it's not even close. Saw them open up for the Decemberists this summer and I enjoyed their set more.

Thank you MLB network, thank you so much. This has been such a treat.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Sep 27, 2011 -> 12:39 AM) I've been talking to this girl a bit the past few weeks, she's in a student organization Im in so we always go out but recently we've been drunk flirting a ton mixed with some dancing. It's a complete mismatch (she's absolutely beautiful), but we get along really well and apparently when I first joined the student organization she had a crush on me (which I doubt is really true, but I have no idea). Just trying to play it cool, be my usual nice guy, but at the same time I want to be more aggressive in terms of dating her. I don't want this to get stuck in friend status, she's the type of girl that I can have a real conversation with, then watch It's Always Sunny with, go party with, and show her off like Ruxin in The League does with his wife. I already lost another girl I was/am really interested in to friend status recently, and I just don't want that anymore. Take your shot then next time you're out. Even if it doesn't work out the way you want, in the long run - you won't regret taking the chance.

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Sep 22, 2011 -> 10:11 PM) I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but the Boston issue of the lastest ESPN The Magazine...(facepalm) I honestly had no idea ESPN the Magazine still existed.

I thought the limo scene was the worst part of the episode. Mac just staring at his chimichanga during a whole scene was just fabulous however.

My guy. See ya next year brent.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 5, 2011 -> 02:40 PM) You don't understand... I am eagerly anticipating this story.

That inning is a perfect image of this whole season. Rios/Dunn being awful. PK being great. Ozzie making ridiculous managing decisions. (Dunn, stewart)

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Aug 31, 2011 -> 11:40 AM) Hopefully today is just Rios's send off for the 2011 season. Unless he goes 4-4 with 6 homeruns, he should never see the field again after today, and if he does I will not be watching the rest of the season. See you next year then. Why in the world would you think today would be rios' last day after what you've seen all season?

I'll take ANY meaningful baseball in August/September, even if it's just hanging on by a thread. I'm not happy about it, but I'll still be watching and hoping.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 24, 2011 -> 09:53 AM) 2011. The same as 2010. the same as 2009. Seriously, the last 3 years have been exactly the same. Hang around until august, then die.
-
Seriously, why? This season makes no sense.

Celebrate your birthday w/ a new hat!

If you're looking for longevity - the civic would probably be the choice. I'm just not a big fan of the "spaceship" interior of the current models. If you're looking for cheaper up front - the hyundai sonata (or elantra if you can handle the size) would be the best bet.

happy bday guys!

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 21, 2011 -> 10:08 AM) Well I did not die, snb. So now who is the crazy one? gin and tonic FTW

And that's all the patience I have left.

Watching the people that missed getting hit by about a foot is just horrifying.

Absolutely terrifying.
